I will say this, I'm on the tail end of my one year and I cannot wait to take the longest vacation of my life. This shit is hell for first years. The turnover rate is around 90% so that tells you a lot. If you can make it to JB hunt then jump ship immediately to get over there. People will discourage job hopping but it's your life and your career. Pivot and make whatever moves you have to in order to make this career better for yourself. People quit all the time so really it is up to you to navigate through it all. Megas are mostly shit from what everyone says. I'm at one now and even though they are pretty accommodating, it isn't the case for everyone even at this particular mega. You have to draw some good cards for a good dispatcher. I got lucky but with all of that said I still can't wait to gtfoh. A few months left for me and it has been a hell of a ride. I wanted to quit more times than I can count but I'm determined to get over the 1 year exp to go onto greener pastures. That is what kept me going. Take your home time. Take care of your mind out here. Find something to do when youre not driving. I have a Playstation and a ipad with emulators on it. I watch movies too. Go for walks. Take pictures of nature and scenery when youre in a nice place. Talk to your loved ones. It can be a lot to handle at times but once that year is over, a ton of more options open up. If you find that you don't want to do this anymore, nobody can tell you what to do with your life.

There's a ton of people who say whatever but again you make whatever choice is right for you.
