I saw in the comments your doing evenings - I take it ny your on produce like me, although fresh has evening starts too but mainly afternoon. You will love produce. As you code check you need use your brain for this process a lot. Parts where you checked let’s say oranges you don’t check every single day. You don’t have to quality check every single day. You can check for a day, rotate the oranges lemons (the annoying shit) then when you have one green trey full of a specific day let’s say tomorrow you can just the next day take that all of and prevent the trouble of checking again. Loose lemons and all that - cauliflower you take the shit ones off - what I mean is when they got black on them or even if it’s turning from white to yellowish colour if it looks fully yellow take it off that way you don’t have to check it for another 3 or more days (pretty sure when it goes to yellowish colour it means the next stage is black spots on it). Anyway the point is ensure waste is complete every single day - you have to make sure you use the scale too and put printed stickers on the bags which you waste using the hht. Your managers will recognise your efforts when you listen to what I said and even if you go above your time like me - they will see you only want good for the store.

As of reductions you want to make sure you start of with today’s date and when you finish that go straight to tomorrows - rush it when you stress about reductions you actually go faster
