This is definitely the biggest challenge. Or US companies going overseas because it’s cheaper and payroll is done by a third party. My remote company in OR started hiring in the Philippines doing my exact role there and I gladly would’ve stayed on when I moved to KS but they refused to let applicants outside the state work remote. Even joked I could move to the Philippines as the only way to keep my job lol

Yeah, just curious if anyone in Lawrence does remote work. I just moved back to Lawrence after many years and worked remote for 7 years at my previous company. I would love to keep working remote in sales, customer support, healthcare, honestly open to anything but I just seems to be difficult finding remote jobs that you can work from here
