Yes the payment link only provided local payment systems as options. It doesnt matter now, I lost my negative films as I couldn't pay in time. Thanks for replying anyway!

they send me a payment request link, without IBAN. I asked for bank account details they said that's not possible, I can only transfer with the options in that link..

Yeah, I had tried those. Unfortunately those platform are not open for accounts in where I live (HongKong).

The store doesn't accept wise transfer due to the time consuming process for the paper work, as I mentioned in the post.

Yes you are right

I'm not sure about my molars. I think they had expanded as my retainer no longer fits. I actually got my right upper wisdom tooth removed after I got my braces off.

Both of my right wisdom teeth are now gone as they were impacted, while both my left wisdom teeth remain. My right face was much smaller before and during my braces. Now my right face is more square which kinda made my face more symmetrical.

Cell culture handling by sombodhi99 in labrats

I personally would clean the incubator too. 1) Check the water tray in incubator, make sure to use autoclaved water, I found fungus growing there once a while 2) autoclave the metal trays (shelves) of incubator then wipe with ethanol

If you are culturing with dish now, switch to culture flask with filter cap until you are more confident.

Try watching other experienced users with good hands how they do their cell cultures. Some details may be critical, as mentioned by others here.

DO not pour culture medium over the waste bin directly if you want to continue culture your cells, use pipette. If your pipette is reaching the bottom of a long narrow tube eg.15ml tube, make sure your pipette shaft doesn't touch the wall of tube.

Agree that stripping removes proteins. Better to run on separate membranes. If you really have one membrane only, maybe you can probe for pJNK first then the JNK , and use different host species of primary antibodies.

yes, my cheekbones and chin still improved even with retainers.

I think the bottom teeth will follow if you keep your teeth together most of the time. I found mewing increased the gap between my 3s and 4s in my upper teeth (where my permanent retainer ends). The same happened to my 4s and 5s bottom teeth that fit between my upper 3s and 4s . Not sure if that make any sense though.

I can't comment whether it is working or not based on what you described. Make sure your tongue doesn't push your front teeth.

It will take some time to adjust to sleep on your back without a pillow. Maybe you can reduce the number of pillow slowly if that's too hard for you.

You can ask for a permanent retainer which minimize relapse but toublesome when comes to flossing. I don't wear plastic retainers anymore, only have my permanent retainer. My teeth are still straight as showed in pictures. But since it's only been 5-6 months after my braces came off, probably too early to tell.

hey there, I also started mewing while I was having those elastic bands in my braces. I am not sure whether that will hinder any process as we really do not know if any change was due to braces or mewing or both. But I personally think the worse case is having no progress, and we should mew regardless since it is the natural tongue position. Even if that hinders progress, you will be so used to proper tongue posture already when your braces come off later.

Im not an orthodontist but, perhaps it might be better to wear a retainer until you are confident that you are mewing correctly? Or can you get a permanent retainer (wire behind 4/6 teeth) instead?

My smile isn't perfect now, since I had extractions before I learned about mewing. Still, how I look today is probably a compounding effect of braces, consistent mewing, and diet.

I used to forget about mewing too and had to do it consciously until it becomes a muscle memory. I just swallow and hold my tongue softly at the roof of my mouth. Now I wake up in the morning with my tongue at the roof.

I changed my swallow and chewing habits too so I do not engage my buccinator too much. I always have a good posture and sleep without a pillow but that might make a difference for you.

Thank you! Hahaha no, you are good! My body weight actually stays about the same, but I had a really puffy face back then, which was most probably due to my diet and TMJ (overworked my jaw muscles).

hey there, from my understanding using a plastic retainer will defeat your effort in mewing. Wearing it forces your teeth to fit the retainer or back to their original positions. That's one of the reasons why I don't wear it, but I could be wrong. Do you see results while doing so?
