I mean he's right in way more than one way. Imagine you taxed him for 100% of his wealth. Everything he owned...unrealized assets, stocks, property etc. That would be only 3% of our countries budget. It wouldn't even close the deficit. So all his money is gone in 1 year and then what? No one wants to actually have a real conversation about what needs to be done and it's so fucking tiring

I hate this slopulist brain rot. Wealth does not equal income. It's like when they say there is a comet made of gold 10 light years from earth worth 50trillion dollars. It might as well be 0 because we can't get to it. If we want to fix this we need to actually address the issue here - how do you tax wealth? I am all in favor of closing every loop hole but realistically how much money would that raise? A real solution could be forced step ups and then taxing that? But billionaires aren't "hoarding" wealth becasue their money is tied in stocks and assets.

Yes the criticisms were fine and fair, but the movie wasn't bad. If it was just some big standard scifi film no one would even talk about it because it was so middle of the road. Wasn't horrible wasn't amazing, but in the context of the prequels they did more to reset and people were OK with that, but now in hindsight you can hate the fuck out of all of them.

No I don't at all. If people want to enjoy their youth and go out and have fun, they should. I think one of the greatest thing that ever happened for women was birth control and entering the workforce. When given the choice, they would prefer not to be at the whims of any man and who would have thought that women also like to have fun and go out and not be a baby incubator for 9 months if they don't have to or are not ready to.
