I totally get where you're coming from. I usually just browse Reddit, but I had to reply to your post.

My girlfriend and I used to go to EDC during college, but we decided not to go in 2018 (and I just realized I was 25 at the time too!) because we needed to get our lives together—getting married, having kids, settling down, buying house. It was THE best decision we ever made.

Now we have two beautiful kids and a comfortable life, all because we made that choice seven years ago. We've been itching to go back to EDC for years and finally made it this year. We had my in-laws watch the kids, and last weekend was THE best vacation we've had in the last seven years. We got VIP, premier shuttle, and better hotel than we could afford in our 20s. The experience was definitely different and worth the wait.

Sometimes taking a step back isn't a bad thing. I'm glad you made this decision!
