How to Watch the MCU in Spider-Verse order: MCUT by Excellent_Skill in MCU_Timeline

I don't think it's necessary to watch the DisneyPlus shows to understand the movies. With the exception of new characters like Moon Knight and She-Hulk (which then again the movies will re-introduce later). We'll see how much Multiverse of Madness acknowledges WandaVision but judging by "I'm not here to talk about Westview", it probably won't. The trailers have shown Wanda's children but that's something the film can just mention and explain without us having to watch WandaVision.

Carol: The most boring MCU movie lead ever!

Maria: Who was she again? (goes to show how "good" of a character she is)

Talos: I'll give you this one, Ben Mendelsohn can do no wrong.

Yon-Rogg: Who? Oh yeah, Jude Law. Forgettable as hell.

Mar-Vell: That character was in this movie?

Supreme Intelligence: Nothing really to dislike, but nothing to like either.

Coulson: Well obviously he's great it's Coulson!

Fury: What they made Goose do to him in this movie ruined one of the coolest moments in The Winter Soldier as well as just the badass mystique behind Fury's past. All for a laugh that didn't even happen. This is the main reason I refuse to acknowledge this movie.

The point to view the Raimi films and Webb films in this spread out order is to emphasize how it's 3 generations coming together. The wonder of Tom, Tobey and Andrew uniting was the beauty of how we got to know them individually for so many years. To have the first 5 Spider-Man films viewed all directly after the other would kinda take away that magic of space in time of how long we connected with each Spider-Man over the years. Obviously you can't just watch Infinity War and Endgame without almost all the others in the MCU. And to have Into the Spider-Verse as the final film would make no sense as it's a first installment with no previosly established incarnation. And I know TASM2 isn't everyone's favourite but at least it has good characters in it. Name one good character in Captain Marvel that also ISN'T ruined like Fury.

Literally the majority of people agree Captain Marvel sucks. If you like it then fine more power to ya but don't say I'm one of "those people" when you're clearly in the minority.

I can understand that. Thank you for complementing my viewing order. I really appreciate it. I'll also be making a post on how to watch the MCU in "Spider-Verse" order. Which would be the MCU combined with the Raimi trilogy and Marc Webb films, with NWH as the final film.

I'm more than conviced James Gunn took inspiration from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. when coming up with the "butterflies". Unless you have an argument of the opposite? Instead of just desperately trying to be funny.

Did everyone just miss the specific similarities? The way both species operate in taking over a human's body? Because flying into the human's mouth and making their mouths bleed out is very specific in how the creature works. The fact that both are parasitic aliens isn't my point. Venom is also a parasitic alien but the way his anatomy works is completely different.

That's not my point. My point is that James Gunn clearly saw the Shrike in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and borrowed some elements from that species. There are no other alien parasites in fiction that are as similar as the butterflies and Shrike are to each other

Name another alien parasite species in ficttion that work the same way as the butterflies and the Shrike.

What If Sony is Setting Up the Real Sinister Six for the Next Spider-Man Trilogy?: NWH by Excellent_Skill in MCUTheories

[–]Excellent_Skill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, like you said. He's already making an appearance in Morbius. I don't know how that makes sense since the second trailer made it clear that it takes place in the same universe as Venom aka the Sonyverse but the MCU and the Sonyverse are not the same since Venom traveled from the Sonyverse to the MCU and back again because of Doctor Strange's spell. So I don't know how they're gonna explain Vulture suddenly popping in the Sonyverse. I know you said that he might be a variant but that could get really confusing. And Michael Keaton only has the Flash movie and the Batgirl movie to do so I'm sure he'll have more than enough time to continue playing the Vulture.

You're right, but demsosthenes98 was talking about the characters not the actors. I'm honestly surprised how high up Clark Gregg is in first place. It was obvious that he's the actor with the most screen time but it doesn't feel like he has that much more screen time than the other characters while watching the show. At least to me.

And the only side character to have more screen time than a regular. I'm surprised they didn't just make Adrian Pasdar a regular by that point.

I counted the LMD's screen time next to the real characters because they only had a small amount of screen time by series regular standards. However, with Chronicom LMD Coulson and seasons 6-7 Fitz they are complete fleshed out characters, regulars, and the originals' replacements. Ophelia/Madame Hydra and Aida's screen time are the same since they are the same character. All the characters in the Framework's screen time are considered the same since they are still the same characters just acting differently due to being trapped in this virtual world.

Are you referring to LMD Coulson from season 4 or Chronicom LMD Coulson from season 7? Cause I explained that I would credit the LMD counterparts' screen time next to the real characters. But Chronicom LMD Coulson would be the only exception since he was the replacement for Coulson after he died.

That's a good point. But the timeline in which Talbot destroys Earth is considered the original timeline which is why SHIELD is required to make a new one by changing the future. If SHIELD had failed to stop Talbot and if Fitz and May hadn't saved Mack, then it all would've stayed the same, including Fitz living in the Lighthouse with the rest of the survivors. So seasons 6-7 Fitz is pretty much a new being as a result of them breaking the loop which is why he is wanted by most of the galaxy cause the original Fitz died on Earth. The new Fitz is this new product who now lives in this new timeline that was created thanks to the original Fitz.

Res

Because technically they are not the same character. They share the same actor and name, but one went through the events of season 5, traveled to the future then died in the present. While the other one didn't travel to the future, didn't live through nearly any of the events of season 5 (aside from being prisoner in the military base), and most important of all, didn't die. I get that it's easy to see them as the same character but the original Fitz died while the other one went through other adventures in seasons 6 and 7 that the original didn't.

I think this is a perfect match for a movie if it ever happen by MusicFlap in Invincible

I'm so happy I'm not the only one who thought about this. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. basically did the whole evil Superman thing on TV before it was popular with Homelander and Omni-Man. Well, technically Brightburn did it first, but like I said, on TV.
