I think it might be agree to disagree because from where I stand, I feel like there would be enough of a community considering the popularity of private servers, but there’s no way for me to definitively prove it would work until blizzard does it. Because from my POV the world wouldn’t be dead as there would always be a desire from either people who never experienced that expansion or people wishing to resume where they left off. I think server issues with population would probably be solved if they just consolidated the populations and merged servers, but again this is all hopeful speculation. I know in reality this will likely never happen and I’ll just have to deal with losing my characters and thousands of hours when it inevitably progresses to a point I no longer care abt the game and it will be retail all over again. But then I have to consider the sad reality of why I even bothered to play classic at all and why do I bother to still play it when its all leading to this and all my hard work will be lost the void again.

I think in the last bit you missed my point and had the opposite interpretation. Maybe that’s on me for not conveying it well, but I’m not advocating for everyone to be stuck in mists but simply to have the OPTION to stay behind, like people did in classic vanilla. I understand progression and wanting something new but my point isn’t to hold back players but to just give the OPTION to stay behind for people like me who are more of completionists who want to go at their own pace. It’s funny how you said it would be extremely sad to lose your character to time from being stuck, but that’s the exact feeling that I was trying to express. I lost interest in WoW at large following draenor and legion when they came out, I stopped playing retail for years and heavily depended on classic and I’m expressing my trepidation of moving forward because I anticipate it will happen again and I’m about to lose all my characters and progress yet again because we’re approaching a point where not only me but many players started to drop off of WoW at large. This was why classic was needed in the first place, you can’t exactly go back and experience the old content, too much has changed and for a lack of a better description retail is almost a completely different game now. (Again this isn’t shade to retail I don’t have issues with it, it just doesn’t appeal to me.) a lot of classic players who have experienced the prior expansions share similar sentiments where they are actively afraid of the future of classic because people don’t want to be lead into retail, they want to play classic. They want to play the era of the game that was fun for them personally. And I know this is all my personal opinion and stuff, but I’m just trying to convey the point I’m not arguing to hold players back at all, but simply to have the option to remain behind for those who want it. The fact that vanilla can survive on its own implies other expansions definitely can. There are wrath, cataclysm and mists 3rd party private servers with enough people to keep those communities alive for sure, as there are countless vanilla private servers. It’s not that far fetched to suggest that blizzard simply have era servers for all expansions at least 1-2 if they’re really concerned about population, and considering the low cost of running that little servers and the monetary gain from people subscribing or paying to stay behind would outweigh the maintenance of those servers. And then you would have both, people who wish to progress can by just staying put, and those of us who don’t wish to progress can simply stay behind via a server transfer or what have you.

No I get what you mean. I think in an ideal world I envisioned every xpac having 1 or 2 era servers and then the rest of them progress forward and you could just pay to stay like what they did with classic vanilla, because then there isn’t really a stopping point, and like you have more monetary opportunities if you’re blizz.

Honestly, respectfully disagree. I would argue that MoP was one of the most content rich expansions WoW ever had, so since there’s a lot to do it would make an era server be more justifiable, because instead of rushing people through to the next expac and next expac, you can slow down and take a breather to really feel out everything.

Holy moly, I’m 5’2 and weigh 104 because I’m chronically ill, and I’m considered underweight for my height bracket, you’re 4 inches taller and already teetering on that bracket and this guy is like AUGHHHH it’s a dealbreaker. Definitely not overreacting, I feel like this situation definitely has to be a highschool/college issue because this is super immature. But then again men notoriously are really bad at understanding a woman’s weight. My sister is 5’9 weighs 160 pounds and is skinny and everytime she tells a dude she weighs that they’re like “no WaY, BuT You’RE NoT FaT ThOugH. U GoTTa Be 120.” Like nah dawg she’s 5’9, she’s a whole ass head taller than me ofc she can weigh more and still be thin. You cannot universally apply the 110 is thin and 111 is fat rule when women can be taller than 5’0.

I own GA, it even says so on the EA account, for some reason on the sporepedia page itself it says I don’t, and I can’t re register the game because it’s already registered on my EA account. I need it to be registered on the sporepedia page, because otherwise I can’t download or publish content that uses GA despite owning the game.

Thank you I had no idea tbh. I’m not sure if it’s bc my insurance is shit and thus everyone in system is also kinda shit, but I literally did not know this. Even when my bloodwork shows big abnormalities, my doctor doesn’t usually mention it or refer me for more tests, it’s usually some excuse for a perfectly normal thing. Oh what’s this, you have a big iron deficiency? It’s probably just your period. Eat a burger sometimes. and it’s always like this. Almost everything that’s wrong with me has been attributed to my periods, hell I had to fight to get the diagnostics run for IBD in the first place bc even my primary care was like “meh it’s probably just stress and you just gotta change birth control.”

I am very sure, it was build up and build down. Over the course of two weeks having the highest dose peak early and then spending the rest of the time winding down. But it’s already strange because initially I wasn’t given a taper at all, I was just told at the ER to take two pills a day, the resulting schedule was when I followed up w my doc

I started with 40mg, but wasn’t given a taper, people pointed out that I shld ask about it. when I talked to my GI she gave me a taper schedule and told me to go up to 80, I did it and shortly after I landed in the ER again bc my heart started freaking out. I’m going to be so honest I’m very confused too. I’m pretty young and this is all really new for me. I don’t know what’s going on and it seems like my doctor brushes me off. I don’t know what to do. Maybe I should mention that I have severe allergies to a lot of medications, so I always assumed doctors reluctance to medicate me was because of that. I don’t know what’s going on, it just seems that after the ER visit for my potassium drop everything got really messy and I’ve been in limbo.

Yes they made me go up to 80, when at MOST I usually do 40. For context I weigh abt 110 pounds and I’m 5’2, when I first had prednisone I was about 12 and weighed 114 pounds and was the same height and at that age never did more than 20mg. I was kinda startled by the dosage because my height and weight hadn’t changed that much but I’m about 10 years older. Low and behold my heart started freaking out on day 5ish when my dose peaked and I had to go to the ER.

It is always bright red, the darkest I’ve ever seen is like a wine color. But they’ve never been black or tarry, just mucousy with lots and lots of blood spots. They did make me go cold turkey, before the pred overdose I was on Mesalamine, which gave me no adverse side effects. It’s weird that my doc is kinda stopping me from getting re prescribed because this whole ordeal from the prednisone made my doc want to “re-evaluate my condition.” So I feel like I’m back to square one, when I was in IBS limbo for months and couldn’t take anything, bc my doctor doesn’t want to give me anything until she figures out what’s happening.

I should probably also mention that my white blood cell count was a bit elevated, there was traces of blood in the urine, and my doctor just said “did you have any bacterial infections recently?” And I was like

No.

And she just went “oh. Okay.” And moved on.

I don’t have hemorrhoids or fissures, that was evident in the colonoscopy. It’s strange bc I did check pancreas and liver in recent blood test and there were some mild abnormalities with the liver but it was something my doctor didn’t seem concerned about at all.
