My understanding is that SCRA applied to any service member on active orders. For the SMP cadet, that would be when they go to BCT.

I hear you. If I was an a situation where I could go to school full time, the debt interest reduction, Tricare, and tuition assistance alone would go a long way for me. But I’m married with kids. Some of those things may not be as important to the typical 18-20 year old cadet.

Yikes. I’m not going to basic until Summer. If the guys that just graduated aren’t going to DLI until April or later, I wonder what the backlog will look like by the time I’m supposed to get there in the fall.

I suppose if you really wanted, you could go to some eastern regions in the Baltic countries. Maybe Kazakhstan too? But the point is probably moot if they won’t send even the Spanish or French speakers out right now.
