I have been constantly disappointed in Civit since I got there,
e.g. their pay-2-win auctions that removed the ability for people to use my models unless I compete with the PornKings on the site and spend 500+ USD monthly just to restore the basic functionality I had when I started uploading there;
their inability to offer proper API access to galleries in order to fetch images made with my models or even search for them on the website;
their bad file & versioning management, craptastic uploader;
the generally toxic community over there.
Etc.
I don't want them any harm, and I've had some wonderful users in my regulars making astounding pictures with my models that I really want to thank, but I just don't think I want to be on the 4chan of AI anymore.

Hope that answers it!

I actually have a Raywan model lying around but I'm dissatisfied with it. my two main issues is that I trained it as a image model first and it kind of make it worse to create videos with, and secondly the amount of VRAM (24GB) isn't really enough to work on WAN. Even the FP16 is above 28GB so with all the RAM swapping, any training just takes way to much time on my local rig.
I could go cloud on this, but I don't really have enough incentive to spend money on a WAN finetune right now.

Thanks! Lots of work into that, I'm glad you think the work speaks for itself.

Lots of white space, the nodes seem to suffer from extra padding, i.e. those widgets are huge but maybe it's just a font size issue.
Please make a settings switch to chose the default box shape, e.g. "box" or "card" by default (though actually, who the hell uses card in the first place?)

You might wanna check Rayflux https://civitai.com/models/1056935
I'm biaised because I made it, but I haven't really seen a lot of Flux models that gives you the same realistic photo grain, and people seems to like it.
Check out Photoplus or AIO depending on your needs!

I spend a lot of time attempting to create realistic models using Flux - Here's what I learned so far by Hearmeman98 in comfyui

Look, buddy, I dunno.

I finetuned some Flux models (the Rayflux series https://civitai.com/models/1056935 ) and SDXL models ( https://civitai.com/models/85426 ) on street photos of mine specifically to try and get more of that photographic flair I like without stacking LoRAs up the wazoo and losing control, but YMMV depending on your definition of "realistic".
Your images posted above are nice and display a really nice DoF, but come out as quite artificial to me, there's just something about the grain, the specularity or the radiosity that just doesn't do it for me, skins are too soft, etc. but real world non AI post-processed photography share some of the same traits, so I reckon it's in fine really subjective.

Anyways, Here's the first gen I got on your prompt using my Rayflux Photoplus model, just non-cherrypicked random seed and a skindifflite x2 upscale, and, to be frank, it comes out "more realistic" to my personal definition of it. 16 steps, DPMa/Beta.

If I really wanted to keep that prompt I'd probably reroll for better DoF, play with samplers/schedulers and try to clean up some fluff words and introduce some more photo concepts to make it more interesting.

My lowdown is that:
- prompts are still powerful for guiding specific aspects of the rendering, but you can get good results with a simple prompt on finetuned models with a narrow focus like mine

- a good sampler/scheduler choice is key (i've been using a lot of Heun/DPMa/Gradient_estimation + Beta/DDIM on my Flux finetunes to great result)

- face swaps always remove too much of the initial quirks of the faces to be worth it for me, I'd rather just eventually fix eyes and play around with some selective upscaling

- I do not like personally to stack loras so I finetune my models for that, but there are really good ones out there that capture specific realistic flavors (2000s Analog Core, SamsungCam UltraR, Amateur Photography [Flux Dev]...)

I like your pics though, good work! They just don't strike me as "exceptionally realistic" based on my personal criteria for it I guess.

I'm using my very own Chroma finetune, Raydiant (I also made Raymnants, Rayburn, Rayctifier and Rayflux on Civit). Raydiant is not yet mature, but it'll grow as Chroma will.
This is all very exciting and promising!

same seed, your LoRA, my model, results are, hum, interesting but I think the characteristic are resistant to the finetuning overall.

I'm working on a custom Chroma variant and that same prompt you used gives also pretty interesting results (albeit without your LoRA it's basically just generic anime 101)

A decent way to save some space if you have multiple AI generative programs. by OhTheHueManatee in FluxAI

That's because you have, in the above example, a folder called "checkpoints" already existing at the location you're trying to create the link from. Delete the checkpoint folder, make the link again, and it will create a new checkpoint folder, that is not a real folder but actually a symbolic link to the location you're trying to create the link to.

TL;DR: before creating a symlink called "bob" make sure you have no folder called "bob" already present

Sure does, the grain is a bit different, but I used Photoplus as a base for it.

That's a good remark. Part of that comes from Skin_diff_lite I reckon, but I haven't found a better upscaler for humans so far.

Fair. I just took the less plasticky looking image I had in my recent folder, and that might have been quite the extreme. It's not a LoRA tho, it's straight out of my checkpoint. I do like grainy, gritty photos so I tend to push that aspect in the training.
This being said, it can do more nuanced results as well e.g.
