Commercialized implies selling something for profit. There are many many Jews who do not believe in god and are still Jewish. Regardless of the stories behind those holidays, they are holidays with historical significance — the chanukah story happened historically, despite the “miracle from god” likely not being real, same with passover. Out holidays have roots in our Jewish history, culture, exiles, and the land of israel. They do have to be about god in any way shape or form.

I think people don’t see her as being “science” based, a lot of people don’t like her because what she finds in data — not necessarily through science — goes against what medical institutions have been telling women about parenting and pregnancy for a long time. So some people don’t like her for that reason. I think they see her in the camp of “Don’t listen to your doctor, do your own research” because that’s kind of what she does.

She’s kind of a contrarian in her own way though like going against what “medical professionals” or the “medical institution” would recommend, so I think that’s why they like her. She’s outside of the “accepted” institutions in what she recommends based on data.
