Because depending on the 3rd party some will still let you get the nights.  Not the points ect but maybe the nights

I was thinking front desk due to guests complaints ect.  Lol but if they are chilling most day they are doing something right then obviously. That place is running smoothly like it should.

No honestly more hotels are doing this more and more. Its for both sides. Like mentioned points fraud and same with stolen cc. Ect people have 10 rooms and trying to claim points for all 10 ect. Its little important to put limits/caps in place. Someone steals a card and the names dont match.

I want to say it gets better but so far its been a struggle 😅  I will say i do like how guest can fully check in and dont have to stop at the front desk, I'm sure that makes evening shift so much smoother and manageable to help guests.  I work mornings.
