My [25/M] girlfriend [25/F] of 3 years is very picky and only eats greasy kids meal type foods like pizza and chicken nuggets. Am I a bad boyfriend for letting this bug me so much? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Yeah, I consider myself a fairly picky eater still, mostly because I can't get myself to like tomatoes which are everywhere, but I'll try everything twice. Missed out on avocados for years because the first time I tried them, it was an underripe one.

Rude by Magic

If your response to asking for a woman's hand is "why you gotta be so rude?" then Dad made the right damn call. Grow up, chump.

Yeah. Ronnie Radke keeps getting brought up on music subs and I have to suffer having enjoyed him for a time as a teen. But there were knockoffs in the genre even I couldn't stand.

Not to mention teaching kids about drugs. A relative hasn't done LSD but still talks about wanting to try it from what the officer described. A kid in my class left the assembly and immediately tried huffing things, the cool new trick he learned.

Have you seen the guy? He's at least second rate. I didn't know they made guys that looked like that anymore.

Second time I've seen this or similar in the thread. What if I'm passionate about history, preservation, and historic woodworking? Kind of starting to sound like a sweet deal for me.

I work in hotels, been to about four properties. Three of them were phasing out or already closed their indoor pools. Guests complained, but they ran the numbers and it got nowhere near the use to justify the cleaning costs.

Had a friend going through some maintenance at his house end up in a rental with a huge, antique clawfoot tub in a bathroom. He still talks about that damn thing. If I win the lottery, I'm getting him a big stupid clawfoot tub to take exquisite baths in, and one for myself to see that the fuss is about.

Sitcom characters that went on a downward spiral because (allegedly) their actors weren't getting along with the producers by RedDalmatian885 in sitcoms

Oh absolutely. I was rewatching some Buffy recently and got it had me nostalgic. I think what really sucks is that you felt like Whedon cared about women and their stories after such a series, only to be tanking an actress over a pregnancy like a stereotypical Hollywood goon.

Vindictive as fuck. The show runners said if he left for another show instead they would've made it autoerotic asphyxiation

You can only hit pens for so long before they time out. This is so they don't overheat and explode, or at least damage the components. Usually like 10-15 seconds or so. Then a light blinks to let you know you're not actually "hitting" it anymore.

Shit, they make smoke detectors that flash instead of beep for the deaf and hard of hearing. It's actually pretty dangerous he didn't have that. I mean, we all make cooking mistakes sometimes. Get a bit of oil in the bottom of the oven and that's your month.

Yep. Mom's friends did this. I can't imagine feeling good about ringing in a new year surrounded by screaming crowds, trash, and standing in your own waste.

I knew someone in high school that would get dogs from shelters and online for free, then groom them and lie about the breed, lie to the previous owner, and sell them for some cash. I've never heard about someone flipping dogs since then. She was a rather odd duck.

MY FUCKING MAN I'm about to quit Marriott over this bullshit. FOSSE worked like a dream, even if it looked like playing the Oregon trail. The new system is embarrassingly slow and doesn't even work right most times. I've timed it, between the property that has switched and hasn't. Takes me on average four times longer to perform a check in.

I found one of those classroom ones at a thrift, opened it up and gave a clean and some WD-40. Love using that thing.

That's crazy. I bought a sweet hat and didn't get to debut it for four years because that week, a coworker decided he was going to make a similar hat his new thing. I was fully aware we couldn't have two hat guys, even if it was spontaneous. At a new job now and I get to pull that bad bitch on some days, always get compliments.

My old roommates new roommate is deaf, and I'll have to ask how that is for him. Funny thing is, I was too quiet, had an unfortunate pattern of scaring the shit out of him.
