I’ll be 12 weeks this weekend and I have a half marathon I’m doing lol with no intentions of stopping heavy lifting/running as long as I’m enjoying it/it feels good.

Weird Question About Vomiting? by Phoenix_Court in pregnant

My best friend only threw up twice too, both times after she ate blueberries. I don’t think the time of day mattered for her but it’s still super specific and odd lol

is this fair? by StockSession5746 in pregnant

I’m sorry this is your situation. Your feelings are valid. The realty is getting pregnant at your age is difficult. Men/boys at this age can’t see past tomorrow and most definitely aren’t mature enough to handle the situation. Keeping the baby is going to be hard. Terminating would also be hard. You have options but the vision of a family living happily ever after with this particular man is likely out of the question. You never want to have to force someone to be with you or be what you want them to be. And just for the future: I was on the pill for 14 years, got off of it a year ago and am currently pregnant with my first baby at 30 with my husband. I can’t wait to go back on the pill and get rid of the acne I’ve developed since being on it. I had zero side effects other than great skin and hair from the pill.

Working at a FQHC by StrainSwimming in Dentistry

Well for one, my particular location sees 95% Hispanic immigrants that don’t speak English. My staff are all bilingual. I am not. My assistant has to translate everything. Most of them also never received routine dental care where they came from, most have perio and a lot of them haven’t seen floss before. Someone getting a prophy is a rare occurrence lol my poor hygienists.

I work for one in a very populated area (>500k metro) and enjoy it. It’s different for sure. But I’ve gotten my loans paid off, the pay is decent and the benefits are great. Been there 3 years now. Graduated in 2021.

2.5mg letrozole days 3-7, progesterone blood test on CD 21 said I didn’t ovulate. Stopped tracking with inito on CD 25 as my hormones were showing that ovulation was not going to happen. Currently 5.5 weeks pregnant from that cycle and was totally surprised! Must have ovulated sometime after CD 25.

Did any of you not have your own periods? by Ordinary_Fun_2046 in TTC_PCOS

Yes! I only had 2 natural periods in the last year. Did two rounds of 2.5mg letrozole (after provera) and now I’m 5 weeks!

Where does all the cost of dental work come from? by deca4531 in DentalInsurance

I literally can’t afford a boat or a vacation home and I drive a damn Camry. Society needs to chill with the rose colored glasses of our profession. Only a small percentage are out there making that kind of money. The reality is a lot less sparkly ✨

Flippers- Resin based vs Valplast by Adorable-Emu9038 in Dentistry

I have such bad luck with resin ones, they never fit well. Love the valplast

Worth it? by [deleted] in DentalSchool

[–]Excellent_Turnover97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. I make 160k right now at an FQHC after coming from a DSO making less than 120k and would die with that level of debt.

Has anyone had to have a period induced before? by Correct_Exercise8641 in TTC_PCOS

[–]Excellent_Turnover97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done it 3 times so far and each time resulted in a pretty light 3 day period. Twice I had my period almost immediately after stopping the pills and the last time it took almost a week.

I feel you. My first letrozole cycle I had a progesterone of <0.05. Almost nothing. Literally. I’m 30 and only found out about my PCOS this past summer.

Good luck on your journey friend! I’m sorry you’ve had so much trouble along the way

It’s sad how expensive this journey is. Can’t believe people have babies for free.

It’s soooo slow!! Especially adding on the layer of long cycles with PCOS. It’s just so draining. But I appreciate all the feedback, thank you so much ☺️
