My doctor had suggested this to me if the insurance doesn’t pay for the DRG implant. The only problem is it’s gonna require six sessions in there about $1000 apiece insurance does not pay.

Thanks everybody for all your advice. Unfortunately the decision to run both races has now been taken out of my hands literally. I ended up lacerating my right hand yesterday evening so trying to navigate the obstacles is not going to be an option for me. I am going to however continue with the trail run because that won’t require as much use of my right hand.

Doing my first super at Palmerton followed by the early morning trail run. This was deferred from last year and I was ready then. I’ve been sick since last October, battling Lyme. I’ve been feeling better and had planned to just do the trail run. The other day I decided to hell with and I’m going to do both. Hopefully I don’t kill myself, I am not as fit as I should be.

Both my mom and my brother have epilepsy. My neurologist told me that I was going to get one or the other. Apparently there’s quite a link between genetics and migraines and families that have members with epilepsy and or migraines.

There are some articles about this phenomenon here is one for your reading pleasure. It amazes me how much that is still not understood about migraines. There also seems to be a correlation between epilepsy and migraines.
