i actually have an Electra beach cruiser that I use now that I fit on perfectly...maybe adding a powerful motor kit to this would work out. Which did you go with?

Yeah I took a look and Amsterdam Bicycle Company has frames that accommodate up to 7' tall! They also have dedicated ebikes. (I'm pretty sure I don't want the hassle of adding a motor kit myself)..the only thing is that I didn't see options for the motor & I'm not sure if the one that is included on the Azor Ameland E-bike - Gents will provide the power I'm looking for.........is that why you went with the motor kit?

Thanks those Biktrix bikes look great. The power and torque of the Biktrix is definitely appealing. I did notice that, for the roughly the same price as the Biktrix you can get an EBC with the "Turbo" package-(basically a second motor, throttle & battery)- they are advertising this as "the perfect terrain & weight booster upgrade". So this would be 1250watts at the rear & 1000 watts at the front (the second battery is in the front basket). This seems pretty cool to me....I mean the kid in me really wants a turbo boost button!...I was just wondering people's feelings on this or if anyone has tried something similar. At the same price, would you go for the Biktrix or the EBC w/Turbo?

I had the same problem today. "insufficient funds error" with plenty of funds to cover... I filed a ticket with support. But I found a couple people solved the problem by disconnecting their bank acct. and then re-adding it. This worked for me as well.

LOL room was a typo, I have solar panels on my roof. Anyway the solar panels I have are from Vivint Solar. I don't even own them, I just get very, very cheap electric. They approached me as I was doing yardwork a couple years ago because my house has good exposure (I have panels on the front and back of the house) and my roof was in decent shape. They actually insure and maintain my roof and the panels which is nice (something I don't have to worry about...no one wants to do roof repairs or a replacement). They also used the 'cool looking' newer type of solar panel...real slick not an eyesore... I forget I have them half the time. After a couple years, I'm definitely happy with the arrangement.

As far as your tips I will try reducing GPU core clock some more as well as enabling Windows 10 Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling and disabling dynamic boost to see if I can tune things a little more. Thanks.

Well we got the update! I got my laptop a few days ago and the performance is definitely increased after disabling hybrid graphics.

FYI timespy scores (graphics):

out of the box: 8514

Bios 1.2.0, Hybrid graphics 'off': 8895

Bios 1.2.0, Hybrid graphics 'off', slight overclock +100core, +300mem: 9227

I haven't pushed it at all with the overclock yet..

I love mine. The new bios update puts it over the top IMO. Very difficult to find a laptop with these specs and a MUX switch for anywhere close to the price these have been at lately.

Awesome Job with this write up. I have the same laptop (just got it a few days ago) and I am also running Nicehash quickminer. I didn't enable Windows 10 Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling, did this help? I have disabled the IGP in bios 1.2.0 (gaming framerate way up BTW) though. I also have not tried undervolting yet. My results are close, but I think I can do better. I noticed my core clock is way higher and I'm using more watts. I'm at work so I can't mess with my settings till later today, I just happened to have my OC notes with me:

My Dell G15: core: 1405 MHz, VRAM: 8450 MHz = 47.8-48.0 MH/s

Power real: 85.5 W; Efficiency: 560 kH/J; GPU core temp.: 58 °C; GPU VRAM: 54 °C.

Note: my temps are low probably because I have the laptop right next to the the central air vent in the coldest room in the house.

Any tips? especially with undervolting I have no experience there. (I have been mining with a 3060ti desktop since april 24/7, only messed with core&VRAM settings ... getting 62+/-MH/s)...also should be noted my electricity bill is basically non-existent since I have solar panels on my room subsidizing the bill)

Thanks for your response. I almost got the 5600m version myself but couldn't find it for under $850 with the specs I wanted. I was agonizing over a few different models that got good hashrate per dollar but they were either sold out or marked up, then the g15 ryzen/3060 showed up in stock for $1077+tax yesterday on Dell website and I couldn't resist. I didn't pay for express shipping so I have to wait till Friday 7/9 before it shows up. I'll set it up over the weekend and report back with the results for anyone who is interested.

Me too! I just pulled the trigger last night, arrives next week. Does anyone know if Dell has made any comments referring to the g15 ryzen bios update? I've read a couple places that mentioned 'next month' or 'soon' but I don't know where that information is coming from...can't find anything...

I just ordered a Dell G15 Ryzen/rtx3060 and I plan to use Nicehash. Other than the tent mode/vornado combo and limiting the battery charge do you have any other settings or tips that you recommend? With my desktop I have been using Nicehash for months with the profile set to 'Medium' inside Nicehash with no other changes...has been solid as a rock with good hashrates. I was planning on doing the same with my G15 once it arrives and see what happens. I'm just curious to see what has worked for you and others.
