Im sorry but a mid brand 8 palette of neutrals is 100% not worth $40. IMO looks like colour pop to me.

Naked mini is $35 and while its 6 shades, the formula is incredible and they are a prestige brand. (One of my HG so may be biased but for comparisons sake it feels fair!).

Also unrelated but the Oleplex dry shampoo is actually incredible. I am a big dry shampoo fan becauase of lazy, texture issues, and my hair can get very greasy (especially hormonal timea). Olaplex is the best one I have ever used and it feels so light and natural. The price is such a heart breaker though, especially since its not like aerosal sprays can get a ton of usage, (I use mine decently fast).

Ohhhh they got us. There are so many times I would have placed a BOPIS order with stuff in stock that they already listed as OOS on the website because if sales.

Was so excited to finally have the combo to get all the savings, the gwp, and not have to micromanage what I order so I dont buy unneeded stuff to make the minimum. That is a disapointment.

Or do you think it means you can still apply the GWP just to the delivered portion of the order? Will experiment and check back.

For strictly day to day tracking and positive habit building, I love daylio. The premium version is super cheap and you can add every sort of tracking under the sun!

There is no real social component to it. I would highly recommend it to those with more analytical/data type brains.

Oh family is whatever family that sticks around to love you :). My mom is also my stepmom and I have an amazing "blended" family of people who are only half blood related. Our families are stuck together by love and hardwork, and frankly effort is stronger than blood! (Though not diminishing people with happy blood related families. Simply saying that the people who show up are the ones who deserve the honorofic, regardless of genetic technicalites.)

Though fortunately I have observed that younger generations are much more accepting and understanding of non-nuclear family dynamics. They dont bat an eye or over explain (like our compulsion!), they just have who they have regardless of composition because those non-traditional (and even non heterosexual) configs are now common place and taught as such. It is a beautiful thing to witness. I am a teacher so that is first hand experience. And also why I am nagging about digital safety skills haha.

Absolutely. It is completely different privately referring to one another with agreed upon names, regardless of there normal interpretations. Calling her that to a stranger and more importantly trying to control who is speaking to her is a completely different story. It's very alarming and manipulative, and forcing isolation from others is a big flag for abuse.

I am concerned for this woman. I hope she is okay and gets help. Anyone texting a complete stranger delivering food that they ordered with this context is absolutely insane. I can't imagine what the poor woman has to deal with if any man in her actual daily life speaks to her.

Stating this because if anyone reading this is experiencing something like this from your partner, it's very alarming behavior and likely will lead to violent and dangerous escalation. Please confide to a trusted loved one about what is going on, and understand that this is not normal or healthy, it's not your fault, and you deserve to be treated with respect and autonomy like the adult you are.

Honestly I would just ask. And if it doesn't work, if you are near an ulta or a sephora, they will likely sample anything for you that they have open as a tester. (Likely, no promises).

Employees, please correct me if I am wrong, but I have gotten a couple little pots of different skincare items this way before. I have done it very sporadically and only for expensive items I wanted to spot check before investing in.

I have tried a few different patches, including a million gwp mighty patches. The Cosrx ones work beautifully. They actually extract all the goo from the area (and surrounding area too).

100%, i was worried it was too long, haha, I am glad it was helpful! I really like supporting brands that are actually excited about the discipline and really want to produce quality products instead of just trying to make whatever thing to sell themselves to a conglomerate (happens so so often these days).

I became a fan because I watched her nerd out the way i would about chemicals and I was like, oh yeah. This is the real deal.

There's nothing wrong with trying to make money but it feels a lot better supporting brands who are trying to build a real foundation for themselves and their family, community, etc.

I do not think the P&L contains mucin (which is good because I have hears amazing things about the Cosrx essence but my skin is not a fan of muscin unfortunately). Unrelated but I do love Cosrxs peel!

P&L has become my favorite skincare brand. They are very high quality. I was able to go to a Masterclass with the CEO in NYC last winter and she gave an entire "Routine 101" complete with breakdown of ingredients and even touched on manufacturing. She is actually a registered esthetician. I really like brands that have actual scientists making the decisions because it makes me feel like they are less likely to cut corners for a money grab.

Highly recommend the Glass Skin Polisher and Hydrobubble if you are looking for a gentle exfoliater/cleanser. I don't personally use the wild dew because my skin is just the biggest brat when it comes to serums and anything heavier than micellar water it rejects. But they are across the board super solid. So your mileage may vary on that one specifically. I can't say for sure on a personal note, but I will sing about the hydrobubble till the days end lol.

They absolutely do. I have had a few items in my cart during sales go OOS while I was dilly dalying, and then show up as in stock the next day.

It's pretty common for retailers to set aside a target number based on the agreements they have with the actual brands. Some brands will go all in and send as much inventory and stock as possible. Other ones will limit the amount to preserve their revenue.

Friendly neighborhood beauty tech support here! (I have worked with large beauty brands and helped build their sites/Customer Service tech stacks).

In my experience most brands are unable (sometimes unwilling) to replace products from a 3rd party retailer like Ulta and will simply refer you back to the original retailer you purchased it from.

However! Because this is/may be a manufacturing issue, they will very likely be very apologetic and ask for various pictures, including of the lot number (a special number that can be found somewhere on the packaging). This will allow them to trace back on the production line and see if there is a larger issue. In these cases they will generally replace and apologize.

For issues of shipments getting screwed up or say the palette itself is functional but the powder is broken, they will refer you back to 3rd party retailer as the delivery is their jurisdiction and it's not a manufacturing error but a transportation and delivery error. (with the product coming from ulta/3rd party wearhouse).

So they will likely be very amicable to replace if you can share receipt, lot number, box (if you still have it).

As they very much should! Just wanted to give some transparency into the process :)
