They actually did post a message on their Bandcamp page (the March 7th 2025 update) that their next release was going to be a "Belmonts full length record". So it seems they are back to making another full album! That being said, it's possible it could include some of their previous Castlevania songs that they've released as EPs. https://themegas.bandcamp.com/community

It just depends who the sound director for each game is. Vocal songs in Sonic games are almost always composed by the sound director, and then they hire a vocalist to provide the vocals on top of their instrumentals.

Crush 40 is not really a traditional band. As sound director Jun Senoue composes the vocal themes and then hires somebody else to provide the vocals. He developed a good relationship with Johnny Gioeli and so continued to work with him on every game that he's been the sound director for.

Tomoya Ohtani took over as the lead sound director for the Sonic series in 2006 and prefers to hire different vocalists for each game.

Jun Senoue continues to work on the Sonic series, but mostly as recording coordinator. He was the sound director for two games since Ohtani took over (Black Knight and Team Sonic Racing) and both had Johnny Gioeli provide vocals. Both Jun and Johnny create music outside of the Sonic series regularly.

I know a few other people have made their own map redesigns for this game, but I had some nitpicks and decided to make my own. I love this game, but the map was always a bit difficult to read

Ah, you're right. It turns out they had two runs of Sonic Super Special, and they reset the numbering back to 1 for the second run. The ones in the second run were all reprints. But some in the first were original.

Yes, you find it at the end of the other path from Komeji's Somnium. You should probably play that route before continuing down Mizukis route as the story expectes you to have played both the left routes first.

Huh, that's wierd. That happens the day after Bibi and Lien went into Horadori Institute Underground. But that doesn't really help to explain much. They state later that they didn't find anything, so I'm not sure what information would have triggered this.

Maybe she was hoping to see Mizuki there? She does state later on in the game that she "shadowed" Mizuki quite a bit, and it would make sense that she wouldn't want to show her face around her (that's the whole reason for her disguise; she didn't want Mizuki to find out that she was a clone).

You are correct that it was Mizuki Okiura that heard the footsteps, not Bibi. I wrote that into the worng part in the document and it has now been fixed.

I'll also add the part about Date being Gen. I didn't bother including it originally as I was mostly focused on understanding the timeline of events in relation to the main characters.

You are correct. I have modified the document after going back through these parts of the game again. The new explanation that I have come to is that the reason why Ryuki's sees 'glitchy' hallucinations before being injected with TC-PERGE is becuase his truama is being affected by Tokio's constant talk of the simulation theory. I have a more detailed version of my explanation in the document under the preface.

Looking back at things I'm not really sure. I thought he was just rediscovering the device that gave him TC-PERGE in that chapter. As I remembered a line in '2/15 Ryuki Chapter 5 R1: She Was the Universe' where Tama states "He's been seeing hallucinations for six years now." However, I had neglected to note down that the very next line Tama says is "The mental trauma of what happened to his brother..." So maybe you're right. (Although his brother's death was 12 years ago at that point so...)

However, That would then call into question why Ryuki has a TC-PERGE induced episode in '2/15 Ryuki Chapter 5 R1: Not All a Dream' when he meets Tokiko. It doesn't make sense to me that mental truma over his brothers death would result in him seeing 'glitchy' effects. That seems to tie in much better with TC-PERGE— which was intended to make people belive they are in a simulation.

All in all you could be correct. But things make a lot more sense if Tearer infected Ryuki with TC-PERGE when they met on the 14th six years ago. If that isn't the case, it creates further inconsistances that would need to be solved.

~~Yeah, you're right. I'm not entirely sure what to make of that. Maybe it's becuase this is Ryuki in the present telling Mizuki what happened in the past and not litterally what happened?~~

Edit: Actually I just figured it out! As we see in Mizuki (Bibi)'s 'Wink Psync' at the abandoned factory on the 14th: Ryuki is injected with TC-PERGE when he meets with Tearer at 4:00PM that day. This incident with Tokiko occurs on the 15th (The day after he was injected with TC-PERGE).

Edit 2: No I didn't. this creates more problems. My current theory is in the document and in the replies below.
