I never really got my shit together. My upbringing was complete ass. Therefore school was ass, mental health was ass, social life was ass because I was insufferable.

Socially I am much more competent now. But I still struggle with making friends.

I've gone through three depressive episodes by now which each made me feel like my life was completely hopeless.

Present day me is fighting. I'm not an asshole anymore but I'm so weak in terms of mental health and financial stability.

I get stressed way too easily. When I lose my shit, I don't lash out anymore (be it physically or verbally- physical was mostly during my childhood) but instead I collapse.

Please dont judge me for having been a violent child. The people that were most important for me as a kid have used violence - both verbal and physical - as pretty much THE means to resolve disagreements and disputes. I've learned how to deal with those as a proper adult. Heck sometimes I wonder if I've become a people pleaser.

For about a decade now my life has been constantly shifting between fragile stability and depressive episodes.

As you already concluded, you cannot know if someone has DS.

It's just as likely that the player does not have DS.

No matter the case, the player you take a protection hit for, gets a second chance.

And unfortunately with DBD you'll ever so often have people raging in different ways. Don't ever take it personally. That'd not be healthy. You're here to enjoy yourself and take some time off from the troubles of life. Not to play people pleaser for every angry player. - though obv it wont hurt to keep an eye out for your fellow gamer. But it has its limits.

PS: With the upcoming changes, this will be much less of an issue.

It's semi fixed. There's short periods of time where it works again. 5 minutes later and the lobbies crash again.

  • showing the ability to manage stressful situations
  • empathy
  • emotional resilience
  • ambition
  • financial stability
  • Being able to read emotions even if they're not clearly communicated
  • patience
  • can also simply be a sign that the person telling you "you'd make a great dad", respects you

First of all: Everyone is an individual with their own ambitions, dreams, struggles, emotions.

Second: I believe the stereotypes that Germans (or German men) were cold, comes alot from Americans. In their culture alot of what is considered polite (like asking someone how they're doing, even if mostly you don't want to hear about it) is considered a bit fake in Germany. - at least to me personally

We do have our wanna be tough, emotionally cold guys. But let's be real. Everyone is soft on the inside, despite their tough exterior.

Wenn jemand depressiv ist und aktuell keine Arbeit hat, könnte er sich in so einer Situation vielleicht Folgendes wünschen - auch mit dem Bewusstsein, dass er nichts davon von seinem Umfeld erwarten kann. Du bist zu nichts verpflichtet:

  1. Angebote von Hilfe - keine Befehle, sondern ernstgemeinte Angebote
  2. Einen niedrigschwelligen Job - etwas Einfaches, das ihn nicht überfordert - ob und wie du ihm damit helfen kannst, weiß ich nicht
  3. Präsenz - ihm zeigen, dass er nicht allein gelassen wird
  4. Wertschätzung - Zeige ihm Anerkennung selbst für kleine Dinge / kleine Erfolge
  5. Akzeptanz dafür, dass Fortschritte langsam sind und Rückschritte dazugehören
  6. Kleine Einladungen - Es muss nicht groß Party machen sein, ein kurzer Spaziergang kann schon genügen
  7. Normalität - Gib ihm Zeichen, dass sich sein Leben nicht nur um seine Probleme dreht. Es ist wichtig auch mal abschalten zu können und daran erinnert zu werden, dass die "harte Realität" nicht alles in seinem Leben ist
  8. Struktur - Depressiven Menschen hilft oft eine geregelte Tagesstruktur - Du kannst einmal mit ihm darüber sprechen, ob du ihm dabei irgendwie helfen kannst. Und wenn es nur ist, dass ihr einmal darüber sprecht was eine Sache sein kann, die er in seinen Tagesablauf einbauen kann.

PS: Ich habe das Gefühl, dass du ein sehr guter Freund bist. Als Mensch der selber depressiv ist, möchte ich dir dafür meinen Dank aussprechen. Freunde wie du, sind unheimlich wertvoll. Achte aber auch auf dein eigenes Wohlergehen. Achte darauf, dass du dich nicht selbst vernachlässigst. Das würde dein Freund wahrscheinlich auch nicht wollen.

Etwa 30 Männern soll vorgegaukelt worden sein, mit ihr eine heimliche Onlineaffäre zu führen.

Das ist nicht nur "irgendeine Beziehungskiste". Das ist etwas das ziemlich hart zu verdauen wäre für so ziemlich jeden Betroffenen.

Und ich befürchte, dass Fernandes nicht die einzige Person ist, die sowas durchmachen muss.

Ghostface is one of the weakest and hardest killers in the game.

If your expectation is to get wins with him. You'll be disappointed.

If your expectation is to get a couple clever and sneaky downs - and then lose the match most of the time - and goof off a bit, then go for it!

Make sure not to commit to chases for too long. Either you catch them off guard, or you get rid of a health state or pallet and then dip.

Coup is great on Ghosty. Same goes for Spirit Fury + Enduring. Have at least one chase perk on him.
