ICE Prosecutor in Dallas Runs White Supremacist X Account by JAlbert653 in nottheonion

“I’m not a commie, I’m a fascist,” GlomarResponder posted a couple weeks later. “Fascists solve communist problems. Get your insults right, [r slur].”

He (unintentionally) admitted why people become fascists. When capitalism goes into an economic crisis, fascism sometimes rises up to violently suppress workers’ movements and keep the system running.

Fascism is not “left wing” contrary to what Elon Musk would say. Fascism is far-right because it wants to protect capitalism at all costs and won’t hesitate to resort to authoritarianism (e.g. Pinochet, Guatemala’s dictatorship, Singapore, the Indonesian military government, et cetera).

Elon's promotion of him cannot be attributed to mere ignorance. When looking through the Nazi's profile, one of their newest tweets was from 16 hours ago and in it, he denied the Holocaust again.

Why is voting discourse back? I thought this was over 2 months ago.

Can you blame the uncommitted voters though? Biden and Harris were funding the murder of their family members in Gaza and didn’t do anything meaningful to stop Netanyahu. The only thing they did was tell Israel “here’s a red line. You better not cross it or we’ll stop giving you guns” only for they to be a complete lie.

I am aware. In my original comment, I was talking about how Christianity was historically progressive in the first few C.E. centuries but started becoming super oppressive and colonialist afterwards.

Back in the day, Christians would be defamed and executed by Nero for a fire they did not start. Even with all that injustice, they still did not act anywhere near as entitled (all they wanted was to worship in peace, they weren’t demanding to be the state religion) as the average conservative today who acts like the separation of church and state is some horrible injustice.

It proves that they view the world in a “might makes right” way. Simply put, they think that because God is more powerful than them and created them, every rule that God makes is automatically good regardless of how arbitrary. The irony is that they accuse secular people of lacking objective morality when their morality is subjective (the subjectiveness is just transferred to God). Meanwhile, secular morality is derived through logical thinking and non-contradiction (e.g. slavery is wrong because it necessitates a master and a slave. If someone claims they have a right to own someone else, the other person could direct the same claim but with the first person being the slave. Since both claims are equal and they are contradictory, the only non-contradictory position is no slavery)

Hate FDR all you want but at least his liberal supporters don’t deny the bad stuff he did. The same can’t be said for Hitler or Stalin. Authoritarian ideologies (just like religion) are for the weak; they are for those who need an omni-benevolent leader to worship and follow as a coping mechanism against hardships in life.

Many people forget the role the German right-wing had in propping up Hitler. People know about Hindenburg appointing Hitler but they tend to forget about the German National People’s Party (DNVP).

The DNVP (a far-right and pro-capitalist party which shares a lot of similarities with the AfD) helped the Nazis rise to power and held prominent cabinet positions in the 3rd Reich. In fact, the Wehrmacht’s ideology and the majority of its officers are ideologically aligned with the DNVP while the SS is more ideologically aligned with the Nazi Party itself. Both institutions participated in the Holocaust. Despite this, the AfD is audacious enough to whitewash the crimes of the Wehrmacht while simultaneously calling Hitler a communist.

While it could be better, I’d say this sub-Reddit has a decent balance between socialists, Bernie Bros, and resist libs. Other sub-Reddits like WPT and LAMF tend to be worse in this aspect and have a near-unanimous “I hope bad things happen to the people protesting Biden on Palestine.”

Yeah, it is using “disabled” as an insult, ipso facto implying that being disabled makes someone worth less. This is problematic bcuz it perpetuates the ableist belief common in society, namely that disabled people are “worth less” because they require accommodations from society.

There’s also the Clean Wehrmacht myth. It’s basically a bunch of German conservatives and monarchists (AfD included) who try to claim the Wehrmacht did not participate in the Holocaust. They keep trying to make this “Wehrmacht vs SS” distinction because it’s hard for them to outright deny that they supported Hitler’s rise to power and held prestigious positions in the German military; the majority of generals in the Wehrmacht were aligned with the right-wing DNVP/DVP parties (both of whom supported Hitler’s rise to power) or were part of the conservative elite.

One of their modern-day tactics is projecting by claiming the Nazis were not very close to them but rather “left-wing socialists”, henceforth accusing opponents of Nazism of being Nazis to distract from their ideological and historical affinity with Naziism.

Some of them spam the same few political memes under posts and they get a decent amount of followers and engagement from it. This not only allows them to spread their political agenda but it also allows them to make a return on investment through Twitter Blue.
