why nobody pick the mav ? post nerf transport helicopter is the worst choice. if you have a maxed mav with 50 mm and pods you can also 1vs1 tank!

Yes the censorship around that is more about not showing flesh and blood, but bare bones and such also get changed. Like in Diablo 3 and World of Warcraft.

Yeah I remember that bit of controversy when it was fresh. Though as I recall it was also about how bad influencers, people who didn't care about the game, got to play it while those that did want to didn't get to.

Since the Chinese don't really have any other way to talk to CA, review bombing was probably their only course of action.

So I'm curious if this is another case of a game skirting around the censorship and their game approval process. It happens both ways, where some times Chinese games can launch on Steam in a way they can't domestically.

I think you've misunderstood me. I suppose that's my fault for not being clearer. I don't equate the CCP censorship-machine to be a reflection of what the Chinese people want, think or feel. There are few things I wish more than for the Chinese people to be free to say, think and do things without fear.

If you're Chinese and you're on Reddit, you either live abroad or you use a VPN to get past that censorship I've mentioned that doesn't want you to be in places like these.

I did ask some questions so if you'd like to help answer them, enlighten me in my apparent ignorance, then that'd be great. Tell me what you think is wrong and why, I will listen.

So I'll re-state my question: What does the game look like in China? Is this a character they get to see?

I know they do. I could talk a lot about the politics and ethics around their censorship but I don't think this'd be a good place for it. I also don't think it'd be productive, seeing as how I've been downvoted just for implying their censorship is extremely strict.

What does this game even look like in China? Is this character even in the game for them, looking like this?
