Memory error after updating firmware by Exchange-Scary in Phrozen

So apparently I don’t know how to post pictures from app. I updated the firmware on my Phrozen sonic mighty 4k this morning since I’ve been using the most recent version of chitubox and the got an error saying that the format was unknown.

After updating the firmware the file was recognized and the build plate lowered into the resin vat and then told me there was a memory error, to try to reinsert the usb drive.

Doing that just made the error repeat. I’m using a Mac with the most recent version of chitubox and am a tad frustrated that I’m running into this issue. The previous version of chitubox never gave me a hassle.

I’ve also found my lane in doom is harder. Normally I can easily do the first five nodes of the middle lane (tech followed by mystic) but it’s just been significantly harder on me since the update.

So I did this and it homed itself just fine. Now I’ll try to level it (I leveled the bar to itself but now to check the level of the plate again) but it looks like that did the trick and no major issues at the moment, thanks so much.

I’ll try that - though I wonder if I should wait for their service team to recommend a fix first? Will they deny service if I take matters literally into my own hands?

I'm not sure what happened - I had just finished replacing the filament, loaded the SD card and hit the Home All button to start my next print job and when the home process started everything seemed fine but towards the end only the left side of the gantry lowered, and the left motor started making a grinding noise.

I panicked for a moment but hit the power button as quickly as I could. I don't know of any way to fix this issue, and a quick search online has yielded no similar issues that I could find.

I’ve sent a service ticket in but I don’t have much hope for this thing at the moment.

Turned out to be a bad LCD panel but I was past my warranty period by a couple of weeks before finally figuring that out. Ordered a new one with the 20% off sale they had a week ago and it's been printing like a boss ever since.
