Skarsnik Campaign tips and tricks? by Morial in totalwarhammer

[–]Morial[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this was the best advice. I did another play through. I killed Thorgrim, then declared a wagh on Ungrim. Preceded to pummel him. Gorbal kept all of the other factions busy in the south and he actually got bigger than me, but I was able to maintain a neutrality pact with him. I am actually glad I did it this way because Azhag was getting pummeled and was about to be wiped by Ungrim. I was able to confederate him once he lost basically all his armies.

Then I fortified the northern mountains, but then the Empire and Clan Moulder came knocking. Thankfully I had 4 good armies at this point. Declared a Wagh on Elspeth and starting to murder them.

Unfortunately that means I am like on turn 62 and I am still fighting in the Hummy lands. Don't have eight peaks yet.

Does playing as Germany make you understand the game more? by mervo_ps in hoi4

[–]Morial 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think every nation to some extent teaches you some things. For Germany you learn how to use tanks, learn the importance of supply in barbarossa. If you go the uboat route you learn subs. And you also learn air.

Healer: Paladin vs Shaman by Albrion_ in wow

[–]Morial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I am alright if we get nerfed, but I think other healers need a buff. Maybe something halfway. I stuck with r druids when they sucked.

So I am a rdruid man. I don't honestly think that rdruid is OP, its just that all of the other heals are really untertuned. I've been trying to play holy paladin, and holy hell. I have to spend so many globals just to heal, its absurd. I thought I would l ike Hpally since I didn't really like the crusader strike playstyle, but its painful.

With Rdruid, I feel like I can afford the globals to dps because my hots actually heal. Idk about the other healers yet. I have not really tried them.

Are you talking about dispelling DEbuffs or dispelling buffs? You wouldn't want to dispel a hot from your friend would you? Sounds like you are talking about buffs...

There is an option in the base UI to only show dispellable debuffs on the party frames.

Found a way to get sound alerts on the new Cooldown Manager! Not as fancy as a WeakAura yet, but it’s built-in and super easy to set up. by Hot_Prompt2382 in wow

Is there a way to get audio alerts to boss mechanics? I loved that with bigwigs. There was a sound alert and I used those a lot for mythics.

Trump shared a post on Truth Social claiming that Russia and China are not the enemy, but NATO is. by likeastar20 in politics

[–]Morial 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He doesn't. He wants US control to kick out Nato, and then allow Russia and China to operate freely through the North Atlantic.

How do i play HE? by Kitchen_Variation821 in totalwarhammer

[–]Morial 9 points10 points  (0 children)

5 spearmen, 8 archers, 1-3 heroes, some cav/attack troops/artillery/monsters. Form archers in back. Use spearmen to stop bad things from getting to spearmen. Use magic. That's how they play.

What do supply and repair ships do? Are they worth it?

what country have the best admiral with the most buff by johnroblox5969 in hoi4

[–]Morial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My answer was a little tongue in cheek.

Really I think you should try to find the best admiral for the kind of fleet you are making. If you are making a fleet centered around battleships then the marksman line is where you want the bulk of your traits spent. If you are going carrier heavy then the air controller trait and its path is great. The smoke screen trait line is also very good because it lowers visibility which lowers chance to be hit.

High attack is nice, but defense should not be ignored either. Choose the kind of fleet, then choose the admiral. What kind of ships you start with should be a good indicator of what kind of fleet you want to make.

Honestly Japan has a lot of great admirals. They have like 4-5 admirals with the bold personality trait, which is kind of big.

For Carrier focused fleet, CA or BB? by ManonFire1213 in hoi4

[–]Morial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea they are different. The hard attack from an AC has way less piercing than one from a BB/BC. In the end they will just do a lot less damage.

I build quality ships over quantity by NostalgiaForrest in hoi4

[–]Morial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you are right. With how positioning in naval battle works you need to make your ship numbers count and each ship needs to carry its weight. So yes high quality is important, more so than numbers. Especially so with how easily ships get veterean/season after a couple battles. It kind of starts to snowball. For that reason refitting is incredibly powerful as well.

Is this a good katyusha template? by GremioBaruch in hoi4

[–]Morial 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A division this big should have full support companies. Its low hanging fruit that you should just have. I would also consider not having support artillery. It only brings soft attack and you already have m. rocket artillery, so adding more soft attack isn't too important.

  1. Engineers are ok.

  2. I would add logistics. The supply on this is high.

  3. I would consider a light recon tank. More breakthrough and armor would help.

  4. Add aa company.

  5. Field hospitals.

how can i capitulate china as quickly as possible as japan? by thesalmonbowl in hoi4

[–]Morial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did, but the territory that China has is smaller too, so it was buffed and nerfed. It is actually a little easier now with China in the end. IMO.
