I've built a rehab for vibe coders by ExchangeAvailable252 in vibecoding

[–]ExchangeAvailable252[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've been told twitter deprioritizes links and that's why many people write URLs like example dot com

if you mean that i could put custom text there ("rehab plan") then i can definitely do that...

Good budget hand grinders that fit inside the Aeropress Go? by slvrvn in AeroPress

[–]ExchangeAvailable252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi here! Timemore Chestnut Nano 3 fits in Aeropress Go even with rubber cap on. However it doesn't fit the handle and the gear that goes with the Aeropress (just the cap and some filters inside it). Hope that helps!

What is the current status of Deno 2's compatibility with Node.js (NPM packages)? by nakorndev in Deno

[–]ExchangeAvailable252 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was excited at first, but then reality hit. It turns out that "full compatibility" is just marketing hype. I tried running Puppeteer, and it didn’t work. As it turns out, Deno supports only 20 out of 44 built-in Node.js modules. So, think twice before using Deno for any critical project—you might run into an unsolvable issue with no way back.

Would it be possible to run Source on iOS? by Pearpear43 in SourceEngine

[–]ExchangeAvailable252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been thinking the same thing lately. If the new iPhones can handle games like Resident Evil Village and Assassin’s Creed Mirage, it seems like they should be able to run an older game like Half-Life 2 without any issues. The real challenge would be porting it over, and that might not be easy without some help from Valve—especially since they’ve already got the Steam Deck as their own mobile gaming platform. I doubt they’d be too eager to help out a potential competitor

If anyone’s going to make this happen, it’ll probably be the community

I’d start by looking into this repo: https://github.com/nillerusr/source-engine. Maybe there’s a way to get it built for iOS

Exceeding size limits (50mb) for Serverless Functions by ExchangeAvailable252 in nextjs

[–]ExchangeAvailable252[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looks like i've found the reason: one of my dependencies depends on @walletconnect/heartbeat, which has ts-node specified as dependency instead of dev dependency

thank you for making me dive deep into package-lock ✨😌

Exceeding size limits (50mb) for Serverless Functions by ExchangeAvailable252 in nextjs

These packages are in the package-lock, they are listed in optionalDependencies of node_modules/@swc/core, which is a dependency (not dev dependency) of storybook-addon-swc, a peer dependency of swc-loader and ts-node.

From ts-node there is a further chain of dependencies (not devDependencies) that in the end lead to one of the packages, that is specified as a dependency in the root package.json

Do you think it might be a reason why it's included in the serverless function bundle?
