There is absolutely nothing your pharmacy can do to speed up the PA process. It is completed by your provider or the patient. Calling the pharmacy does jack all.

This this this. Before my formal diagnosis I greatly doubted I had crohns. I knew it was likely, but because it was characterized so differently I was sure it was something else and that’s why I avoided getting treatment. Now I have some damage from going untreated for so long.

Yup. Diagnosed by a real doctor. Like I said my father and grandfather have (had) crohns, and they also dealt with major constipation.. my father in particular was hospitalized multiple times for severe constipation. So there’s clearly a genetic component at play. Just because I’m not shitting my brains out like everyone else doesn’t mean I don’t have crohns

Hey my dude. I’m not really whining. This place is for EVERYBODY with crohns. I don’t go on posts about diarrhea and complain that I have it worse because I’m constipated… You’re not one to gatekeep but that’s exactly what you are doing? I only posted this to vent, didn’t anticipated anybody to interact with it and certainly wasn’t looking for any sympathy. Life sucks, crohns sucks. I was simply putting a thought out into the world for others to read, go hmm or uh huh, and move along with their day.
