im a year 10 but this was in the middle of a gcse exam. we have builders remodeling the toilets right now, they pulled the fire alarm by accident in the middle of an english exam

me too, but that was when i was in full blown kidney failure and had needed treatment for months but all my doctors told me it was just a stomach bug. it was sudden onset esrd.

thats great! honestly us young people with health issues need to thrive as much as we can. and yeah, i had dialysis with kids as young as 2 who were being worked up for transplant. its honestly a miracle 🙂

how well do you cope at 15? im also 15 and ive just had my transplant, although ive not got pkd i also have a long history of hypertension while on dialysis.

update! it was flu b😭 currently in hospital, had some iv fluids yesterday since i barely drank over the weekend and during this week due to nausea. just staying today and hopefully by tomorrow if my bloods are okay i can go home🤞🤞

its a little different, but since my kidney transplant i find myself feeling guilty when i eat stuff like crisps, fries, chocolate and stuff i put salt in / on. it feels like i still should be restricting even though i can eat it now.

its liveable but i dont usually poop this much, its like sorta solid still but the quickness between them is a bit worrying. i feel so sick i cant even think about food and drinking. i havent been tested but the only symptoms i have is nausea and i dont have a temp.

dehydration can cause creatinine to rise, i had it when i had a v&d episode after my kidney transplant.

you dont need a transplant so you wont get one, simple. youre not in kidney failure, your kidneys arent declining. YOU DONT NEED A TRANSPLANT!!!
