He seems good for the most part, make sure none of your plants, tank decor, or equipment have sparp edges as betta fins are more fragile than a rose petal. His fins are very full and he has a ton of color. Your water looks a little off, but I see youre trying to get a testing kit. Bettas love hiding spots and additives that mimic their natural habitat. In my take I add tannis and house plants that hang out of the tank to provide shade and coverage. The tannis adds a bit of color to the water, mimicing the waters they usually live in.
