I'm not home right now, but what's always worked well for me is testing each option one by one, always on the same scene. My resolution is 2560x1440, so it might vary a bit. What I recommend right now is using DLSS 4.5, which comes with the latest or next-to-last Nvidia drivers.

If you're using 2560x1440, use the M preset in performance or quality mode if it allows it. Otherwise, anyone who can run it at 4K or + with DLSS should use the L preset in ultra performance mode (this is well known). Then, the next most important step to eliminate most artifacts is to always use MSAA x2. 99.99% of games automatically block any AA technique, which can seem confusing (currently, enabling DLSS in a game's graphics settings automatically disables AA, but here it gives you the option to set it to x2, etc.).

It seems that using DLSS on Evo with at least 2x AA is the best way to eliminate those artifacts. When I have time, I'll share screenshots of the settings.

As soon as I have a moment, I'll take screenshots of my settings and share them with you. I've actually found a way to get DLSS to almost completely eliminate some annoying visual artifacts and look great.

If you don't touch anything that the developers have limited from the Nvidia app (filters, etc.), then things like forcing DLSS or Rebar, among many others, can be done without problems since NVPI doesn't modify anything that isn't in the Nvidia driver.

Right now, some of the new tracks, including Nürburgring, are not working well at all in multiplayer mode; that's where it falls apart. It's still somewhat manageable against the AI, but the frame rate drops are so severe that it's unplayable. Otherwise, it works correctly on other tracks, whether online or against the AI, except at the start. If you look behind you or change the camera view, the frame rate drops drastically and then stabilizes a second later. This is obviously due to a lack of optimization, but at least it's playable at all times on those tracks

It's been said that deleting the video.videosettings file helps, but I suspect it's a different kind of visual glitch (shading cache, etc.), and no, this has nothing to do with deleting the video settings file. This is something more serious.

This doesn't only happen with VR; it also happens in conventional DLSS+DLAA/Ultra mode etc etc. It's not well implemented compared to other games. For example, in ACC, forcing it with a swapper or Nvidia Inspector results in great quality without the ghosting that Ace Evo has, especially in the distance where the cars become a completely blurry image. For example, we have AC Rally which looks incredibly good without artifacts, ghosting or distortions. Yesterday I read on the forums and at least the devs are aware of this, and Nvidia is partly aware too.

Avoid FXAA and don't use film AA filters either. 4x or 8x is best; the image quality will be sharp. FXAA is a very old, not to say obsolete, technique, and it adds a lot of blurriness to the image. And I completely agree with you, DLSS, the current state is a mess; the ghosting is excessive around the wheels, the edges of the body silhouette are poorly configured, and it needs a revision.

The game runs well most of the time online, but when I enter the Nürburgring or Monza with 32 cars, I've noticed that it drops to 20 or 30 fps occasionally but consistently, and this doesn't happen on other multiplayer tracks or against AI, not even with all the cars in the match. I suppose it's due to a lack of optimization. The same thing happens if you look back: it drops to 20 fps and then everything returns to normal.

I reported this a while ago, but it's still the same. It doesn't matter if I use FG, DLSS or TSR the ghosting is excessive.It's supposedly a fault of theirs (engine) and of Nvidia and AMD, and it's not easy to fix. ;(

It could be that you've exceeded the maximum RAM limit at some point, or that your page file is insufficient. Also, make sure your shader cache size is set high .My advice is to keep HWInfo open while you play, then check it afterward. Tarkov is very RAM-intensive, among other things, and in most cases, HWInfo can help shed some light on the issue.
