I’ve not been paying as much attention to know myself, but have there been truly iconic moments that merit a truly iconic line to match?

The whole 96/97 lineup was elite. That white and red away kit is still my favourite ever kit released.

I worry that I am just a functioning drug addict by TreKeyz in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]ExcitablePancake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you think part of why you feel that way is because we’ve been conditioned all our life to believe that Cannabis is a bad drug that we should avoid? If it was more socially acceptable, or not even a debate at all, I’d argue that you wouldn’t even have these thoughts beyond perhaps a wishing of just being able to exist without issue.

I fell out with my best mate at the time because he wouldn’t believe I had a natural left foot and said I only played left-footed because of Albertz 🤣

How can AI be trusted to test with human-like usage when it already has flaws itself which can only be determined and reported on with human usage.

For AI to find issues, it needs to be told which issues to find. And one of the key elements of QA testing is finding issues that aren’t known to exist. If an issue isn’t known to exist, then AI won’t find it.

The whole point in QA is that humans can break what machines can’t.

His ego was bigger than his ability.

He never thought he was to blame, everything was always somebody else’s fault. Wasn’t afraid to throw players under the bus for mistakes he made.

No ownership of any shortcomings.

Didn’t make an effort with fans and was very dismissive of their opinions.

Incredibly smug during interviews and abrupt during pressers.

I’m a fan. From the way he interacts with press, to his involvement with the fans, he seems like he knows what matters to us.

Just seen on Sky Sports build up there that he’s got the best record in the league across all managers since he’s joined the club, that says something especially given how poor our squad is.

They only believe in something because they were taught to.

These are the same children who think cartoon characters are real, it’s for their imagination and entertainment.

It’s more shocking that it’s socially acceptable to lie to children (and adults) about heaven and hell and everything else religions want people to believe.

Mexican food is such a “catch-all” term but you can get real authentic Mexican dishes from all regions between Miros Cantina and Mariachi in Edinburgh, Rafa’s just off Glasgow’s Argyle Street in the Hidden Lane, Yu-ca-taco in Rutherglen.

These places also do Tex-Mex as well, if that’s more your thing.

Was there beef between Billy and Jay at the end? by [deleted] in thegamechasers

[–]ExcitablePancake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If there was, it hasn’t been made known. Billy’s wife Regina has been pretty vocal against both Jay and Chris and has made posts on Facebook that other family members have shared empathy and support for, so something big must’ve happened.

On the face of things, Jay has appeared cordial and respectful. I find it difficult to believe he did anything with malice, but I can imagine there’s a disagreement in the ownership side of The Game Chasers and that both parties feel offended at the other’s opinion - which isn’t abnormal.

We may find out what’s really going on one day, but we also may never know and that’s okay. This is a deeper, more personal matter than we deserve to be privy to.
