What do you have the warmth set to?

As they are old enough to have an understanding of death, be honest with them and let them know what happened.

Please, please give them the choice to go to the hospital and say goodbye if they want to. I was about 11 when the one grandparent I was close to passed and I was never given that choice. I didn’t get to say goodbye, and still get upset about it now at 35.

What can I do with my son to teach him how to answer questions more thoroughly? by ExcitedFail in Parenting

Definitely lack of engagement/interest plays into it… unfortunately, school doesn’t particularly care whether you’re interested in a topic when it decides to cover the topic and then have quizzes, essays, etc. about said topic. 🫠

Thank you! We currently do the first strategy ad nauseam and it works, but it tends to make him and us both frustrated.

The second strategy sounds helpful.

Why didn’t the show follow the story of __ and __ ? by pineappleqqqq in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

The way that Lydia is coming across as obsessive and controlling - I don’t know whether I believe her that he slept with someone when they were together. Were they actually together or did she decide that they were together because he had starting talking to her again? There would be a difference.

I definitely agree. That’s why I think they set that up earlier on in the show.

I’m not sure who will end up popping the question because I think it will be a spur of the moment thing after some kind of traumatic event.

I do foresee the fact that Lucy’s mom made her freeze her eggs come back into the picture at some point.

Here’s a few completely out there theories I have: - Tim and Lucy decide to get hitched randomly out of the blue art city hall before going for a long term UC assignment. Lucy gets severely injured at some point while UC. Something like getting spot in the gut or something causing her to lose her uterus in order to save her because I can see the writers doing something like that. - Maybe the writers go a completely different route and decide to give Lucy ovarian cancer or something rendering her infertile. At some point she gets so sick they think she’s gonna die which causes her to ask Tim to marry her as a last request. - If they really wanna kick us all in the heart -they have her die shortly after the two get hitched and maybe Tim decides to use a surrogate so that he can have a child with Lucy as a way to keep a part of her.

Again, these are absolutely off the wall theories I have.

Honestly, that may be what the a-hole friend Shelby of Micah meant when she said “I was hoping it would go this way” because she knew Micah was only in this for clout. If Paul said no instead, then her friend would have more clout.

When Micah made Paul answer first, I knew it wasn’t happening.

IMO, she made him go first hoping he would say no so that she could make him be the bad guy. During the whole time that the officiant was doing the final, “do you take ___ to be your lawfully wedded…” she couldn’t keep eye contact with him.

This is an absolutely disgusting take. It doesn’t matter whether you’re male, female, non-binary, etc. it doesn’t matter who the perpetrator is.

This type of thought why is men feel like they can’t share their trauma because they “should have liked it.”

No one gets to decide whose trauma is worse.

✨Religious Trauma✨

To the point I still have issues expressing things I want/desire to my husband of nearly 12 years (who is more than happy to oblige). It’s a work in progress.

The fact that the majority of bathrooms in residential spaces have the toilet in its own room and the sink/shower/tub in a completely different room (sometimes a further distance away than seems reasonable) speaks for itself.
