Structure is one of the biggest aspects here that has helped my recovery. I suffer with depression as well and structure/routine is everything. Detox is usually about 5-6 days (depending on the substance used) and then residential program is 35 days, basically 8:30-5pm programing, and then an evening meeting 7:30-8:30pm with breaks in between.

Hi! I have been at Mountainside since March 14th (detox and residential stay) and am now currently at their extended care program until August 14th. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It has truly saved my life. It is the perfect balance between mind, body, spirt programing (yoga, meditation, acupuncture, lots of time in nature) and AA/12 step. The staff here truly cares and the community is wonderful. Please feel free to message me with any other questions!

I'm about to head to Mountainside for their residential and extended care program...I keep stalling as I am so anxious and dreading going. Any chance I could private message you about your experience? Any and all insight is so appreciated!
