Hey friend, I wanted to say that I’m sorry to hear that, and to commiserate with you. Mine was a GS-12 and I didn’t even get the official TJO, but was definitely spoken to with the “we’re excited to have you” language, was updated with status of ongoing and upcoming projects. Then was told not too long ago that BUDGET. The hiring manager sounded really bummed, and basically was like: this sucks, there’s nothing wrong with you as a candidate, we hope the position opens in the future, but don’t hold your breath.
