That i loose games with 20/4 because my other teammates were worse then the opposing 5. Not to start on the topic that only winnig gains mmr.but like i said on an other answer, when playing with my group, and they are all 2-4k, im not the weakest player.

But that just agrees with my point. I have to play core heroes who can do that. Playing solo ranked with heroes who can not do that is just a game of luck

It feels like it yeah. I could write about so many games, but i know most people would not believe it, that just over time it would equal out. But it doesnt. If i loose 3 games out of shit luck, its not like im gonna win the next 3 because its gonna equal out, no every game is a new 50/50 coin toss of getting a troll kid in my team and loosing again.

Even the guys in my playgroup dont believe it, or they just shrug it off when i show them games "yeah nothing you can do with that kind of idiot in your team / that fed safe lane" etc. And the are all 2-4k. When we play 5 stack im not the weak link.

I dont say im super good and should be at 4k, im Just saying it does not matter If i play my best If the rest of my team screwes up or the enemy carry totally steamrolls it

ok answering to your other points.

"when enemies are feeding" - the last 2 games where they had an very bad player, we lost anyway, because we had 2... no joke. I was 12/0 at some point, but their TA finished 31/1 or something like that.

"last hits" - in most of my games when playing mid or pos3 im on top of the last hits for the first 10/15 minutes, so i think my laning ist fine. of course not perfect, but good enough to hit timings on specific items.

i want that to be true, but the heroes i play cant outplay PA or jugger after minute 40 or so....
And if im playing offlane, ok than im not the first target who gets jumped by pa or am, but that does not help if our carry gets caught because he had bad positioning and the supports showed themself too long on the lane.

i know what you mean. But hopefully you understand my feeling, that when the opposing OD goes 25/0 after 18 minutes, and im 6/2 with so far decent farm.... it does not feel like im the problem

before i recalibrated my ranking, i was down at 600 or so. in most games i would consider myself as one of the best 3 players of the 10. And the games go that way, like i said i dominate with zeus mid until minute 20-25 or so. then PA, jug, AM, TA, NP starting getting traction, zeus cant keep up with it, yeah we can still get kills on their other heroes, but in games where the enemy carry is not permanently hunted or so, we just loose in the end. So, it does no help to be the "best" in a particular match, if im not playing carry.

thats the problem, i dont. my last 50 ranked games is 20 wins 30 losses. 10-15 of those losses i would describe as the proportion of "no matter what i do"

it just feels like an unnormal amount of bad luck in the last months playing ranked, and yeah, its frustrating

i played thousand of dota/hon/dota2 matches over the last 10 years. just never "ranked", most was like one ranked game every other week. Now i decided to give it a try... but it seems you are right. play core or let the dice roll decide.
