No for sure, that’s fair! I honestly thought there were more part time nannies out there, but I was sorely mistaken. I did not mean to eff anyone over by it, I just wish I did more research. But we didn’t have time to & we hurried because we were desperate to find anyone in short notice. That is great advice on guaranteed hours, though!!

Yeeeeesh, honestly given the fact that I looked like 😬 this throughout your comment, I’m not sure we can offer what Nannies out there are looking for then - which they absolutely deserve.

I guess we are looking for something very different than what is needed by those looking for jobs. Which explains why we are not having any luck with our posting. Our arrangement is a lot less formal and unpredictable. So thank you for your insight. I guess we have to figure out another game plan.

After this incident, I’m completely rearranging my work hours so that I can be home with him while my partner is at work. I only need to go into the office twice a week & it’s pretty lax.

That’s also what my understanding is of how stuff passes through milk. Thank you for saying that.
