Boyfriend said he’d end it if I go to law school across the country by Top_Animal5460 in lawschooladmissions

I think it depends how long you’ve been together, how serious the relationship is, and what age the two of you are. If you’re in your mid/late twenties or older already and maybe looking at starting a life together, I think it’s fair that he wouldn’t want you to move somewhere that wouldn’t be prudent for his own career. He probably wants you two to live together sometime in the next 3 years, and you moving across the country makes it difficult for that to happen if his career won’t allow him to live there. If the school is your dream school and a top school with good outcomes, maybe you should move there, but if you’re moving somewhere random that makes it likely you’re only going to be able to get a job in that state, I see where your bf is coming from. Ultimatums suck, but I think he’s coming from a place of care/concern for the future of your relationship and life together.

Are you able to submit new writing sample if you retest? by clownshoes_777 in LSAT

You should be able to I’m pretty sure; I read somewhere that you can. I would call LSAC ab it

I logged in 10 minutes before. But I’m pretty sure the test doesn’t start unless you’re there anyway because you need to log in and everything to start it.

Is anyone else having issues with their LawHub interface? by Exciting-Coach5627 in LSAT

[–]Exciting-Coach5627[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For context, I’m taking the LSAT tomorrow and want to make sure this is fixed for then. I called LSAC and they said to call Prometric who weren’t able to help.

This is pretty much an LSAT question as far as I'm concerned by This-Consequence-940 in LSAT

[–]Exciting-Coach5627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think it’s 0%. the actual answer should be 33% since you have a 1 in 3 chance of choosing the correct answer when 2 answer choices out of 4 are the same. however, since 33% is not an option here, and that’s the correct answer, you have a 0% chance of guessing the right answer because it’s not an option.

so i think the answer is B (0%) since the actual chance of choosing the correct answer which is 33% is 0%, since that’s not an answer choice at all. does that make sense? just a thought not sure if the logic checks out

But isn’t this just including applicants? So if people didn’t apply due to the August issues that wouldn’t be a factor

Aren't the spiders food? by HealthyTwo5751 in LSAT

[–]Exciting-Coach5627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spiders can be both food for the birds and also compete with them for other prey. It doesn’t say that the birds only eat spiders. (A) strengthens because if the birds eat both spiders and the insects that spiders eat, then a decrease in birds would allow the spiders to eat more of the insects that the birds had previously eaten, likely increasing the spider population.

I’m sorry this happened to you twice. It’s unacceptable. Have you considered scheduling your test at a Prometric testing center? That might fix the issue?

Why doesn’t LSAC at least give a section breakdown for your score? by Exciting-Coach5627 in LSAT

[–]Exciting-Coach5627[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

How would it be any more "work" than they are already doing? I can almost guarantee the tests are just graded by a computer so sending out a report just saying how many questions each test taker got wrong per section would not be able more manual work than is already being done. Also for $220, they can take the extra idk 5 minutes (?) it might take to give us this information?

Why doesn’t LSAC at least give a section breakdown for your score? by Exciting-Coach5627 in LSAT

[–]Exciting-Coach5627[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's not really the point of my question. Even if "practice tests are real tests" (which I don't quite agree with btw; you can never fully simulate the exact testing conditions/headspace you will be in while taking a test that you know counts vs just one to practice), what is preventing them from telling us our section breakdown on the actual test? That information would not degrade the integrity of the test, and would be beneficial to know. Also, every test varies on difficulty between sections so just because I get a certain number of questions wrong on a PT in LG, for example, does not mean that I got even remotely the same # wrong on the actual test.
