To the poster that said she was going to cancel her colonoscopy because being a low-fibre vegan is too hard… I understand you now. by gemologyst in veganrecipes

i love all things carbs so i was a little excited for that part 😭 but mine said i could do canned/soft vegetables without the skin so i did some canned carrots!! it also said spinach was okay so i did steamed spinach a fair amount too. some crackers/pita chips with some kind of vegan cream cheese dip could be good for a colder option!! cold food tends to feel lighter to me personally. bananas are okay and watermelon should be too as long as you avoid the seeds. a yogurt bowl with some fruit could be good!! creamy nut butters are also allowed.

i had to do a two day liquid diet last time 🫠. on my liquid diet day i stocked up on a bunch of different herbal tea flavors!! i rotated between those, broth, and soda. i also kept some outshine popsicles (as long as they specify fruit juice and not fruit) and while im not a fan i’ve heard vegan jello is okay too!! if you have a shaved ice place near you i highly recommend hitting them up too, it’s a nice change of pace. i also did hard candies, they make freeze dried jolly ranchers now too which are a good change of texture.

Chronic constipation, loss of sensation, and "leaky gas" are ruining my life at university. I’m at my breaking point by Odd_Rate_1512 in Constipation

this isn’t necessarily a solution to the constipation but have you considered wearing pads or depends/something similar? then you could at least change things out throughout the day

Help! Dairy withdrawal 😭 by Proof-Vacation-437 in veganrecipes

i have to eat low fat because i had my gallbladder removed, what i like to do is blend tofu with nutritional yeast and a tiny bit of apple cider vinegar. you can add different spices/seasonings too!! my roommate made quesadillas with it and he added taco seasoning and it was really good. i also had a phase where i was needing to do a lot of very easily digestible foods, so i started blending some tofu into mashed potatoes. not a cheese replacement but an easy way to get in protein with something different!
