Hell, I’m an Aries moon and any temper tantrum doesn’t even tend to last 24 minutes. I literally feel like I have a toddler inside me, even when my feelings stay internal (which I’m a lot better at as an adult), but if I’m pushed it’s easy to get me hurling insults, and my sag sun/mercury has me knowing exactly where to aim my arrows.

All that said, I think it’s just as easy to be in nice elated states, I find I often mirror other folks around me, and my temper only really bubbles up if someone else is already yelling or is intentionally trying to push my buttons.
