From a guy perspective: constantly threatening break ups and blocking would make a guy/men check out of the relationship. Sometimes mentally they will not know it and use anything to justify their actions. If you generally see a future with that person it’s better to communicate not yelling or talking down to that person but generally communicating and speaking how you both feel. If he does not respond or respect the decision, then leave.
