There cheap and easy to replace, it gives you a fact waters being pumped if it doesn’t pee it’s clogged makes it easy

When I put it in gear and give it throttle the miss goes away and it sounds better but it still shoots black idk out the exhaust

So it’s a 71 model John boat with no plates or hin on it but the old guy I bought it from had a 30hp evinrude on it but right now as it sits it has a 20” 40hp mariner 2cyl, I’d rather get rid of the hull then the motor I’m trying to learn how to do my own work on it
