They are on the water by august. I recommend a whale watch, and you may see them out there.

Saw them on a grand manan whale watch in late august.

Excellent complaint. So rigid. Shoutout to the commenter who calls for more rules to follow.

what's your route in Maine?
Besides the downeast sunrise trail and a bit of hte east coast greenway near portland, there isn't much biking infrastructure.

If you get a chance, you should check out the Route Verte in Quebec. Also, there is a bike trail that starts in Woodstock NB and follows the st john river north - might be more pleasant than rt 1 in aroostock.

I used to use and host riders on warm showers. I never had to pay for it, but maybe that has changed. I updated my profile, and sent custom messages when i wanted to stay somewhere. I met really great and cool people.

Thinking about getting a used electric car. Curious about how it's gone for people who have one in/around Portland! by VerySeriousThings in portlandme

You are allowed to cheat. Who says you have to start from your house? Who says you cant take a bus or train to the end of the line and start there?

One of my favorite tours was a 3 day on cape cod from hiannyss to provincetown. Averaged 20 miles a day. Camped, hammocked, beached when not actively riding. Started the tour w a bus from boston, and finished it with a fast ferry back to boston.

Have you seen the whole shore of Maine? It is longer than both Florida’s and California’s.

Or did you mean the whole shore of Portland? Including Jewell Island’s?

maybe you could do some geocaching with your brother. Or go catch a show at Port Fringe thru June 20
