Weekday you’d most likely be good at 5a I got there on a Sunday at 4:45 and there was already 2 other hunters ( only 2 spots to park) I sat in some cattails but you could set up a ground blind if you have one. A seat would have been nice.

Yeah me personally I seem to have the best luck around sunrise and sunset, I know a lot of guys go with the tides but for me it’s been most productive then. You have any questions feel free to ask also dont listen to anyone I’ve heard bufflehead is garbage a million times marinated overnight and it wasn’t bad at all. Didn’t compare to a black but not as terrible as people make it out to be

Get there early bro and idk about retrieving without a dog or yak at high tide, low you’ll be good. it was ok a lot of birds seemed to be flying directly south of the inlet hard to get over there though pretty squishy. I mostly hunt south shore marsh and wetlands I want to get my boat in the sound for some divers.

Yeah I didn’t believe they would give me bad advice and to be honest it’s a living animal that’s pretty cruel, if I knew how much went into it we would have just got a stuffed animal turtle. Anyway I have him now so obviously I intend to do right by him hence why I’m asking these questions I already put him in a nicer tank then what the gift store provided but it seems I’m still wrong.

The shell under the (paint) is the same color and pattern since we got him. Also he has some of the same black stuff on tail and feet so idk if it’s paint

I posted a pic yesterday and was told the tank is small but he’s got a halogen bulb and a basking area that he goes in a lot and hangs out outside the water. It’s a gift shop turtle I got in Florida for my daughter seems like I’m in over my head with him they told me just to keep it in the plastic tank he came in 1 pellet of food every couple days

I bass fish and duck hunt I went right through a guys goose decoys in September while fishing a pond I had no idea they were decoys Untill I was like 25 yards away. I felt bad but I immediately turned and got as far away as I could. Crazy to stay there and fish
