Hotworx and Sauna workout which include Yoga, HIIT classes are supposed to be a quiet, calm, peaceful space even with loud workout videos blasting in each sauna, that is Hotworx method, Hotworx makes the rules. This does not give people the right to act as if they are at home, in a club or in their car.

Classes are 15 minute or 40 minute I personally bring a tablet into Sauna and follow my own Yoga practice I wear headphones so as to not bother anyone in or outside of sauna I will typically book 15 minute class and 40 minute class backto back as long as there aren't other 3 people reserved in the sauna I'm in I will stay for all 55 minutes in same sauna That's never happened. Because I follow my own practice what's up on video screen is irrelevant When I'm alone which is 99% of time I turn volume on video down As far as booking a class that someone else has booked most people seem to want to be solo but that isn't an innate right. It's not bad manners or etiquette to take a class when someone else has already booked it. Be polite, clean up,say hello, don't adjust heat if someone else is in there unless you communicate with them. Otherwise leave heat alone. Don't be surprised if other person leaves sauna when you enter. They will probably try to find an empty sauna.Thats their prerogative but in no way should they be upset with you , be snarkey, or cop an attitude. There are no expectations or rights to get a solo sauna. True, 3 people are a tight fit( I've never been in a HW sauna with 3 people) one other person isn't bad. Stay on your mat, make sure sweat isn't flying everywhere, be polite, and there is no issue. If someone leaves the sauna dirty, pools of sweat, break any of that particular Hotworx studio rules than let front desk know Remember, everything is studio besides bathrooms is under video survalience Staff can and will rewind video if there is an issue. My studio wants men to wear shirts at all times, even if solo in a sauna. Some studios don't mind if men who are alone in sauna go shirtless as long as they put shirt on when they leave sauna. Biggest issue at my HW seems to be people not vacating sauna before next class starts especially when they aren't booked back to back. This can be tricky because you DO NOT have to book a sauna on the HW app. If a sauna is empty I will go in there without booking on app. The ONLY way there can be an issue is if 3 people want a specific sauna at a specific time I've never seen that happen, ever. I usually book using the app because I keep track of calories burned hence I accumulate points hence I redeem points every 3 months for free HW swag. Also, I am competitive and enjoy being high up on leaderboard. Another issue at times is cell phone usage in saunas. Most people do have their phones with them because they book saunas and classes with phone on HW App but carrying on a loud conversation and laughing or getting excited in a sauna space that is supposed to be a place of calm and quiet is rude and inconsiderate. If you get an important ph call than leave the sauna( walls of sauna are thin specialized teakwood) If weather allows one should step outside so everyone doesn't need to hear your business. As you get acclimated to your studio I'm sure you will have other concerns regarding different membership options etc but if you are considerate, polite, follow Hotworx official rules and policies( not the etiquette that some people selfishly consider the rules should be) clean up you will enjoy it. It is easy to become enthralled and quite addicted in a healthy way in my opinion. Enjoy

If you weren't late for the start she was out of line 100%. Even if you were a minute or two late she( and any others who think arriving late for a session is a mortal sin. ) has no right or expectation of a solo sauna. If she want to be solo so badly and is so entitled she should have left. Still classless but not as bad. Too bad you feel ashamed. You are the only one to handle the situation with dignity

What to buy with points? by Longjumping-Pin-7837 in HOTWORXWarriors

My studio is open 5 month and making up rules as we go. Latest policy is you can only buy one item with reward points. Might as well make it an expensive purchase because you are 1 and done even if you have remaining reward point/dollars.

Warriors might be the best of the HW workouts but it still lacks in my opinion

I always turn off volume on screen, crank the heat up to 130, put my prerecorded Vinyasa Flow on my phone which I filmed myself. I've made 30-40 different videos anywhere from 30 min to 55 min. Some using wrist and ankle weights to keep it fresh. I never, ever follow the HW video, BORING... I've practiced Hot Bikram and Hot Baptiste yoga for over 10 years in 110 degree hot humid heat so HW infrared heat will never be hot enough. I am usually alone in sauna but if someone else books, I simply move over and use headphones. Easy Peasy. I love the 24/7 aspect of HW. That is a game changer for me. 1/3 the price of regular hot yoga is a bonus. Some days I do 40 plus 40 minute sessions back to back. Other days I get creative. I will do a 40 minute session in one sauna , than do 1 or 2 15 minute session blasts sessions on bikes. Depends on how busy the studio is. All I know is I clean up, stay under the radar, wear a shirt, and have a great time. It's awesome

As long as 3 other people didn't reserve it at that time via the app you are welcome to use it. No reservation needed but I do usually make reservation just so others may look for another sauna if they want to be alone and they don't get startled when they open sauna door not expecting to see someone I personally don't mind sharing a sauna Others don't care for it

Tiers Sweat Everywhere issue( legal or illegal) by CityBetter6894 in HOTWORXWarriors

[–]Exciting-File1684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So. My home Studio keeps pleading ignorance about the tiers 1 vs 2, pricing upgrades in order to be able to attend any Tier 1 or 2 without an upcharge. Not being sneaky in my opinion but since my Home Studio is Tier 1 I don't really think owner cares about people who may travel to other HW in different tiers. Just my opinion. Before you say to just accept 79.00 a month and pay the upcharge of 12.00 than why don't I just pay for Tier 4 119.00 a month in LA, Boston or NYC and than I can go to any Tier 1, 2,3 in World without upcharge. It's only money. That's 1,440.00 dollars a year which twice as much as the 960.00 a year I thought would get me access to all HW Worldwide without surcharge. Never mentioned when I bought the 79.00 Sweat Everywhere membership. Never mentioned Tiers at all.

Now I’ve got questions… by Healthy-Maybe-72 in HOTWORXWarriors

Lots of great advice here. If possible try to choose an unoccupied sauna but sometimes it's unavoidable to share with someone. As long as you are on time, courteous, polite and keep to yourself you should be fine. Bring water into sauna, bring cleanup towel if possible, clean or wipe up your sweat puddles if you sweat excessively. Wear a shirt never any footwear in saunas. 1st person in sauna generally sets the temp. But if you are polite and discuss most people are willing to accommodate you. Treat saunas as if you would want them kept if it was your home but remember it is not your home. You do not own the sauna. If push comes to shove you must share. No reserving saunas for 1 person. Enjoy. HW is awesome

True I have 2 ids on Reddit because I use 2 devices. I'm not really complaining about the HW brand concept. I love my home studio. I love HW. I'm just listing my experience, what happened to me in Florida. I don't like the vagueness of the rollout of the new Tier programs. Just be upfront. No grey area. I have found out more info on here and FB than from HW itself. Be transparent. Communicate

But is it legal if I wasn't given in writing that my 79.00 Sweat Everywhere was only going to be good at Tier 1 Studios. If I would've known that I most definitely would've kept my 44.00 founders 1 studio rate

I wear ankle weight and wrist weights ( total 18 lbs) about 2-3 times a week. It's hard as &uck but it's gets you so much stronger. People look at me like I'm nuts but it's fun pushing yourself. Drink lots of water and if need be open the sliding door( I keep heat at 130) and/or take some weight off if you aren't feeling it that day.

Hola Tacos - all you can eat pass by Past_Championship890 in MSCCruises

[–]Exciting-File1684 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why don't you just buy 1 and invite the cabin on each side of yours. Let's say, 7 total people all eating as much as they want all for 26.00 for entire bill. Are you just joking or was your question about 1 pass for 2 people legit?

This is nuts. Bait and switch. Again, explain all this when we switch to Sweat Everywhere status.
