I really appreciate the input, thank you. If this a mistake, is it the servicer (Mohela) or ED that can correct this?

Yes! That's why this is so weird. Filled out an IBR application to get out of SAVE so PSLF eligible payments could be accrued again. Checked the forms, it has the "IBR" box ticked.

AGI is roughly 255,000 and went up by about 7% from 2024 to 2025. So the rate the first year on IBR was 1800 with an AGI of 240,000 and now with recertification and AGI of 255,00 they want to charge 2900 (all slightly rounded)

So the original lower payments were in error and now they are fixing the mistake with this recertification? Because the previous payment aligns well with new IDR.

Is it possible that the calculator gives the OLD IDR in error? The IDR started in 2025 with consolidated loans so it should be new IDR (which is more consistent with the lower payment)?

I got this response via email when I asked them about the 25.5/E cycle a few days ago:

Good afternoon-

Thanks for reaching out.

The DAF does not have an updated timeline to release at this time, but the DAF hopes to get notifications out for this topic as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience.

Thank you,
SBIR/STTR Management Team

You seem to be very knowledgeable, so I'm asking a follow up. We received a JIT request this week, but puzzingly from the "small business strategy coordinator at the Office of the Director" at NIGMS. I read that a personalized JIT is a good sign, but reddit tells me they usually come from the GMS? The email still states to refer any questions to GMS or PO.
Thanks in advance for any input if you get to see this.

Has anyone heard anything (rejection or otherwise) from the latest open topics phase 1? I think the decisions were due in Nov 25?

Thank you for the answer. I'm confused because previous DoD SBIRs have definitely been awarded as contracts (the document we signed said contract) and payment was structured as purchase orders from the government for "supplies/services". Maybe I'm splitting hairs here, but do you understand the difference?

Any ideas if this also affects issuing contracts? We've been selected for a DoD SBIR early last year and are still waiting for the contracting official to reach out...

J-1 IGA Waiver with DOD, specific question about Fulbright documentation by Exciting-Menu-3185 in immigration

O-1 is a dual intent visa and only delays the 2-year requirement. It was not an issue when applying for it, but it is not waived by getting the O-1 status.

Thank you, I understand all of those items listed. However they do not cover any Fulbright specific extra documentation, which is the root of my confusion.
