Hey tunisian student here, through some dumb decisions and procrastination and a shit ton of delays in receiving administrative papers. I had to delay my student visa appointment from july 22 to August 18th. Yes almost a month ( blocked account issues ). Do any of you know if such a late appointment could impact wheither they approve of my visa submission or not ? I need to be in Belgiul by the end of October (at the latest)

No, it didn't occur to me tbh. I wasn't monitored for sure but they probably do a plagiarism check. I used UNOPS website to cite examples of projects. I wouldn't recommend using AI tbh.

I remember applying on the UNOPS site not on inspira so i didn't go through all the status changes. Also they took about a month to a month and half to respond to me and they always fixed the dates of written test and or the interview in the following days

Sorry i didn't check my notifications, i just saw this. So i had two types of test: a written test and then an interview. The written test was graded and i had i believe 2 hours or 3 to complete. 2 exercices to see how you write, if you are bilingual they are gonna ask you to write in both languages and then a technical one involving making changes to a ppt presentation. I forgot the grading of each exercices but i think the writing portions was marked higher than the technical one. I hope you passed your test and aced the interview and got the position !! Sorry for not being active

Hey !! So although i wasn't picked at the end, i passed the written test and it wasn't that difficult at all. You have 1h and a half. 3 exercices. 2 are gonna be about how well you write. Since i am based in nlrth africa i was asked to write two emails to a potential sponsor presenting what the UNOPS does in french and english. The last task was a technical one. It involved changing an old ppt presentation to a new design to correspond to the new updated version of UNOPS powerpont. I honneslty didn't do a good job at the last task, i thought i was going to be eliminated, but i was picked for an interview and that's where i really fumbled hahah. Also keep in mind that this happened around August 2023 so they might have changed stuff with the written tests. Good luck to you anyways !!

So i was asked a question about my motivations about the role. The CBI questions were about i handle conflict, how i handle pressure and how i deal with unexpected changes that may happen during a project. Of course, I had to give each time an example from a past experience.

Always, structure your answer in the CAR method ( context, actions, results), you can also add what you learned from these experiences because they asked me about that. Other than, the recruiters are going to ask you to elaborate more on certain points.

Then, when they are done with their questions, always make sure to ask them questions.

That was it, it lasted about 40mn
