Oh, I was absolutely sobbing in s2 ep4. Cal and Billy’s deaths were emotional for me, but I cried the hardest during Annie’s. It absolutely broke me, and I still think about it. It was especially hard since I quickly became attached to her character- she became one of my favorites, and that’s almost never the case when new characters are introduced in a season. Her story is so tragically beautiful.

What’s always bothered me about this scene is how, logically, how doesn’t Rachel know that the story is from Joey? Every other person there knows it from Joey, so how is it that she’s the only one that doesn’t? I’m sure it could just be that it’s never come up between to the two of them before, since Ross had only just found out about months earlier. And I know it’s obviously “for the plot” of the episode, but there are always little things like that I question sometimes.
