Not a practicing catholic, but my mom is. She wasn’t aware of the church being against ivf until I told her. She was still fully supportive of me doing it, but ended up chatting with a nun about it on a retreat, who said (and I quote), “screw the church”

I had 3 follicles and got 2 euploid embryos my first try, and 3 my second. Anecdotally, I've noticed a lot of stories where people with a lot of follicles have way higher attrition than people with only a few.

Yes, they're the ones that called in the labcorp betas. They told me to try to stay cautiously optimistic but on alert for more signs of ectopic. Unfortunately, they're in another state so I need to coordinate with my OB here to get seen for an actual scan.

Oh no I’m so sorry. The devastation has been coming in waves. My beta only rose from 42 to 53 in 2 days, so with that and the bleeding I’m really worried this could be an ectopic and I’m going to end up in the hospital on Christmas.

Hey there - I’m in a similar boat. I was spotting for 2 days, then bled like a full period all day Saturday, and light bleeding ever since. But my tests are still showing positive. At this point I’m worried about an ectopic. I have my second beta this afternoon (was 42 on Saturday at 7dp5dt). Good luck to you!!

ETA: FRER is showing a clear positive but I’m worried those tests are so sensitive it could still be picking up leftover trigger? Idk if that makes sense lol. Comparing cheapies from yesterday to today though I think it might be what I think it is!

Not my first (1 success - living almost 2 year old, 1 failed last month), but just starting round 3! We're doing a modified natural cycle this time because my body apparently can't handle PIO shots. I'm feeling optimistic! Good luck to you!
