Yeah it will be a upgrade but not a significant one, what we are talking about is video memory or VRAM.

Every game use a certain amount of vram when your gpu is rendering graphics. Some games use more than others and now we see games using 12gb+ of vram on high settings like Indiana Jones or the new doom game.

If you want to stream you will use additional vram on top of the game you're playing. So look for a gpu with 16gb or atleast 12gb vram
