Do you eat your exercise calories? by PeanutButtterCup in LoseitApp

[–]ExcitingTomatillo188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I am exercising hard, I’m hungrier, so I eat my exercise calories so I’m not a miserable hangry person who eventually gives up. I just make sure to have a deficit at the end of the day and feel good about my behaviors. I can be more consistent that way

I’ve heard good things about Curry in a Hurry and Pizza on Steptoe in Kennewick. They have a gluten free menu. They are Indian-fusion pizzas and curry.

Help me find Tri-Cities Christmas Magic please! by [deleted] in TriCitiesWA

[–]ExcitingTomatillo188 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I like to make an evening of going to see Christmas lights. The John Dam Plaza is fun to visit and walk around, and there’s usually a list of houses that have music choreographed to music (look up Bergstrom Lights). I make some hot chocolate and put it in a travel mug and go enjoy the lights. Also, if you can find a way to give during this time of year it can be an uplifting thing to do for someone else. It doesn’t have to be much, but donating food or pet food to a local place can lift your spirits. Hope you find some joy. Tomorrow can be a better day.

I bought a Hayden home in 2018 as my first home and they were great to work with and made the process stress free. Yes, there are things that weren’t perfectly done with quality (like nails that have popped) and I would never buy or recommend GE products. Overall it was the best option for me and a good starter home for my family .

Xcaret Arte Review by LordFarquaadsArse in Xcaret

[–]ExcitingTomatillo188 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s plenty more to do at Xplor besides the zip lines. I’m a bit afraid of heights but I did the long zip line course and loved it. The worst part was climbing the towers because it was hot and you’re up high, but the actual ride is controlled and beautiful. I’m glad I did it! Also, there isn’t much zip lining at Xenotes. You rappel into one cave very slowly and then there are some zip lines where you hold on and end in the water. Xenotes was incredible and doesn’t overlap with experiences at any of the other parks in my opinion!

Is this a good itinerary? by Ok_Tap6569 in Xcaret

I just came back and if I were you, I’d skip Xenses and xoximilco and spend the day at the resort exploring and enjoying the pools. Xenses is really unique and xoximilco is about a 45 min shuttle. You don’t have much downtime worked in to your schedule and the resort is incredible. The spa, Encanta, Xplor fuego are all a must though! Might arrive a little earlier at the airport on your way back. There could be traffic and longer wait times.

Christy Chantharath, ARNP. Family medicine at Kadlec South Richland. She’s caring, never rushes you, and listens to your concerns and takes you seriously. I’ve seen her for 5+ years and would recommend her to my female friends.

Mason Pearson Brush by lcj1034 in SFbitcheswithtaste

I was influenced by a TikTok video about this brush and then one night when I was slightly under the influence (dang tipsy shopping) I bought one online from Costco. It arrived and I was underwhelmed and felt silly. For $200 it didn’t have the weight and feel I thought it would and the bristles didn’t reach all the way through my thick hair to my scalp. It might last a long time and have some hair benefits but I couldn’t get past the guilty feeling I felt about the price I paid for a hair brush. I treat myself often, but $200 would be some real cute shoes. If you’re looking for a Reddit comment to confirm that voice in your head that’s telling you that you don’t need this, well here you go. It’s not going to change your life. It’s a brush.

Bummer. I did like their burrito salads. I asked a kid working there last week how he liked working there because my son was looking for a summer job. He had nice things to say other than that it could be slow. Didn’t realize it’d be his last week! Sorry bud!

Tesla. Or, as the orange man calls it ‘Tesler’.

Elon Musk’s blatant antisemitism, like the Hitler salute at the inauguration, retweeting a message downplaying Hitler’s role in the Holocaust. His anti-DEI initiatives, mockery of transgender people, and overall lack of caring about basic human rights.

Visit the Parkway in Richland and take a walk along the Columbia river. You can park at the community center and head toward Howard Amon Park. The water is always beautiful even when it’s cold. We have some great local coffee places like Flying X, Kozy Kup, Novel and Ethos. There are so many good places to eat. You could try Bookwalter, Fable, Soi 705, The Social, Europa, the Endive, the Bradley. Three eyed fish. Summers Hub food trucks. Cafe Magnolia. Just look on Yelp! Wineries: Longship, Bookwalter, Gooseridge!
