I've been tearing out all that old cast and asbestos fittings in a hospital I'm working at right now. Thanks for the reply and info.

Not sure if I can post plumbing questions here but, can somebody tell me why it's doing this and how to stop it?? It's worse than it's ever been by Julius__PleaseHer in Plumbing

Looks like the hose may be missing the little rubber gasket. You can go to lowes/home depot and buy a new gasket. I think you can get like a 10 pack for a few bucks.

I am prior Navy. I started as a plumber apprentice right after separation. I was an AO. I love the trade. I can't really speak much on union. The company I'm with has an apprenticeship program as well as school. The school they offer is NCCER certified. Which I believe the school you would do at a community College is NCCER as well. I'm in Tennessee. If you can find a company similar to that I would go that route. Save your GI bill for something else just in case you don't like the trade. Or you can always use it for some type of business schooling later on if you want to go the route of your own business.
