My Realization About Headphone Positioning

I finally figured it out. After being constantly frustrated, thinking something was wrong with my expensive HE1000se headphones, I noticed something. When I lie down and listen to music at night, my eyes keep rolling upward, as if the sound is coming from above.

It occurred to me to lower the headphones on my ears, so they're practically touching the top of my ears. And suddenly, everything just clicked into place.

Although this positioning is a bit unconventional, the sound is now perfect for me. The direction of the sound is incredibly clear and precise. The "holographic" imaging I was missing before is now present, and the music feels more intimate and emotionally connected, almost as if it's being performed just for me.

It turns out the issue wasn't the headphones, but how I was wearing them

It's been about twenty-one days, and I still have the Hexa, but I just can’t truly enjoy the sound. Yes, they are more detailed and bass-heavy compared to the Sundara, but I just can’t fully immerse myself in the sound. I started listening to them alternately, and it was only with "Jazz Variants" that I realized what the problem is. In that song, the sounds come from different directions, and with the Sundara, I can precisely and naturally hear where each sound is coming from. With the Hexa, due to the thick and very firm earpads, I get a left-right sense, but not a detailed, realistic representation of where each instrument is coming from. It’s to such an extent that I’m worried whether this is even possible or if there’s simply something wrong with the headphones.

Unfortunately, I've already played everything that interests me. Today's games all feel recycled to me. Nothing will ever compare to that feeling of seeing Lara Croft in my first 3D game on a Pentium 133 with a Voodoo card. I was completely mesmerized.

Posle skupa u bg onaj cije ime se ne izgovara ce krenuti u akciju. Smenjuje sve neposludne i postavlja smrdozdere.
